The front end staff were very friendly and efficient in taking our order. Our order came within the time promised, however, there were no chairs for waiting and we are seniors so it was a bit tiring to stand and wait for 15 mins. However, when we got home we were all thrilled with the tasty foods. We had ordered curry goat, oxtail, fried snapper with rice and peas and ground provisions. We also ordered pumpkin soup which tasted like homemade. I would recommend Beryl’s takeout with no hesitation. This was their take out facilities on Westney but I heard they have a facility on Kingston road which has a dine in which I hope to visit before I go back home on the West Coast

Extremely poor customer service. The person who answered said they are the "line cook" amd didn't know how to take orders but proceeded to take our order. After a really difficult phone call trying to order I was told it would be 45 mins. I showed up when it should've been done. And was told it's not ready. I waited in the store for another 50 minutes... I kept asking and they said it was almost done when it clearly wasn't. almost 2 hours the chicken was extremely dry in the jerk chicken. The rice was flavourless. The fried fish smelt so terrible we had to throw out. I highly doubt not recommend. The food was no way worth the 2 hour wait nor the over priced. I will never order here again and advise you to do the same.

Wait time takes forever. I got chicken roti and it was horrible in every way. The chicken didn't taste like chicken, it was very saucey and no curry at all. It was super sweet like sugar. I'm Guyanese and I know this is not Caribbean food I'm use to eating. I actually felt sick and put more than half in the garbage. Island Spice in Scarborough Maccowan and Pitfield is real Caribbean food. Island mix in Pickering and Oshawa is also alot better.
