Buon Giorno Italian Bakery

Where did all the delicious cookies go? Was my go to for biscotti and pistachio and strawberry leaf cookies. Not a fan of the new format.
Frozen and hot counter still great!

Experience:
I visited the Italian Bakery with my goddaughter, who was craving a red velvet cake. Upon entering, there were two other customers in the store, and we noticed a lady on the phone who appeared to have just come up from the back to the cashier counter. She didn't greet us or acknowledge our presence at all, so we gave her a few moments, expecting some sort of recognition.

Unfortunately, even after waiting, it became clear that she had no intention of acknowledging or assisting us, as she remained on the phone. Feeling disregarded and unwelcome, we decided to leave, hoping she might stop us to apologize or offer help, especially since my goddaughter really wanted the red velvet cake. However, she stayed on the phone and said nothing as we walked out.

I don’t typically write reviews, but this experience left me feeling quite disappointed. While I don’t want to assume it was intentional, the lack of basic customer service made me uncomfortable and unhappy. It’s possible this wasn’t the owner, but it was troubling to be treated this way. It’s also a shame I can’t answer all the questions for this review because we didn’t even get the chance to place an order.

The bakery itself looked clean and well-maintained, but the poor service left a bad impression. A simple greeting or acknowledgment could have made all the difference, and I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience for others in the future.

We ordered a few eggplant sandwiches with all toppings and the spaghetti. Great food quality, tasted fresh and excellent service. The pastries are really good as well and were fresh, will definetly return

Absolutely amazing little shop!
Loved every thing.
The two guys working were delightful to interact with.
Even gave us a sample of a delicious dessert!
Everything looked and tasted amazing!
Would 100% recommend and return.
And get the lasagna, soooooo good. I forgot to take a picture:)

Stopped on to avoid the rain and what an eyeful of yummy food! We had the lasagna and veal sandwich! Delicious!! Ended with egg tarts. Amazing!!

Nice place if you’re looking to get your fix for authentic Italian food.

The chicken Parmesan was above average. They didn’t have crusty bread when I was there so I didn’t get the true experience.

The Italian deli sandwich is also a good choice but there’s no preset sandwich, you’ll have to tell them what meat you’d like.

So… Eggplant parm was breaded and put into a toaster oven.. came out gummy and white.. not cooked.. when I asked about this I felt the tension ??? oh no!! Pastries are not made in store but rather brought in from a supplier. With respect. This is not an ?? bakery sorry.

Veal on a bun was good, not great. Home fries were tasteless and cold. Lasagna was ok.

Very cute, clean and welcoming interior. I didn’t check the aisles and freezers as my mission was coffee and sugar, but I was interested in how much they had going on in there. The coffee and sugary treats were divine. I really loved the latte I got and the tart and cannoli were delicious.

I came in today and ordered a Greek salad which was not an authentic Greek salad, and the tomatoes were mushy, and by the time that I took them out of the salad, there was half of it left really not worth what they are charging . I also got a meat samosas which had barely any meat in it so all I was tasting was pastry. I then got a little container of cookies which I thought were homemade, but they are not, and I am extremely disappointed in the money that I paid for the food that I received. Extremely disappointing for an “Italian” place
