Did not bother to check order for salad, was given no salad dressing and has to drive all the way back. Some attention to detail would have been nice for a pre ordered catered order. Mistakes like these make me have to go back to this restaurant and miss time with my family, Plese just be more careful with your orders next time and don't waste my time, it was my daughter's birthday.

Yummy chicken and potatos
Ordered a half chicken dinner
Chicken is way overcooked, skin is charred and the meat is dry.
Both of the sides (rice and potatoes) are not fresh. I suspect they have been refrigerated overnight, because they lost their moisture and have a refrigerator smell.

I normally get take out but the food is awesome and I order catering for events from them too. Not cheap but worth money.

ordered this meal and was honestly impressed by how satisfying and flavorful it was. The grilled chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection — tender on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside. You can tell the seasoning was done with care, giving each bite a bold and savory kick.
The jollof rice was perfectly cooked with a rich, tomato-based flavor and a nice hint of spice — not too overpowering but just right. It came with a good portion of mixed vegetables for extra texture. The real surprise, though, was the crispy golden potatoes (or yam balls) — crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and they soaked up the sauce beautifully.
Everything came well-packaged and still hot, with no mess or sogginess. A perfect combo of taste, portion size, and value for money. If you love bold, home-cooked flavors with a touch of spice, this meal hits the spot!

I’ve been going there for many years. Chicken, fish, even the potatoes super soft and well cooked. To my surprise today I got home to open a super dry, chicken barely seasoned; potatoes dry and a bit hard. I want to think that the regular chef is on vacation. Very disappointing.

Update:
I am addicted to their sauce and potato balls. Very tasty. Priced a bit steep though. Wish the potato balls had a little sauce with them like greek potatoes do but still they are a great side that goes very well with the chicken. Also as a side note...this place has some cute girls working here. 5 stars lol 😍
Havent eaten here but i forgot my wallet here when i bought some peri peri sauce and one of the employees delivered it to my house. I found that to be nice of them to do.

My husband used to surprise me with the half chicken dinner after work on Thursdays 3-4 years ago. We have since moved away, but during a visit with family we decided to drive an hour to pick up dinner. The chicken used to be juicy and everything covered in sauce, now, the chicken is overcooked and dry. We were disappointed and sad. The sauce is yummy, potatoes are good, but the star of the meal was nothing like we remembered. I'm not sure what had changed, whether it is the quality of the chicken or the manner in which it was cooked (I don't recall it being spatchcocked), but it has made for a medicor meal.

I took barbecue chicken home it was awesome way better than a few months ago
The most tasteless churrasco chicken I ever had, it’s not authentic how Portuguese churrasqueira should be! I should know. No flavour notes, no sight of piri-piri sauce. Very tasteless that I had to add my own sauces. At this point Swiss Chalet wins the taste test. Very disappointed about this! And for the staff, please smile a little and don’t be rude when prices are asked for certain dishes. Don’t like your job, move to another one.
