Crepe Castle Restaurant (Ajax)

Came here with my family for brunch. Food was excellent! They have a good seating area as well. My kids enjoyed their waffles. Overall a great experience.

Their menu has halal options and some pretty good ones.

Ive been twice now and the breakfast is amazing as well as the staff! They are super friendly and very attentive.
The home fries are SOO good! Yum ? and the portion sizes as well as display are so perfect.

When you walk in, the decor is nice and upscale for the modern look of most new restaurants nowadays.

Good option of food. Both pictures I've added are the royal of different numbers. Sweet and savory is my go-to
when going to get brunch. I particularly like the house fries and the cinnamon pancakes.

Now to the worst part. The service the first time was good. My second time around was almost next to non-existent. Waited 10 mins to get the bill, server was avoiding making eye contact with us. Probably only the second time I was tempted to not tip at a restaurant. If we come again I'll make sure to revise my review.

This place was amazing ! The potatoes were amazing and the smoothies taste fantastic.

Crepe Castle offers a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Their menu has tasty food at reasonable prices. It’s the perfect restaurant for a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

We had breakfast here after seeing the high rating on Google but ended up disappointed.

The service is average which is fine, but the food was not good. The eggs in the Benedict were not seasoned which was disappointing because they were cooked perfectly. Another downside though is they were covered in the hollandaise that didn’t taste like anything either except for margarine. The fruit slices had no bite and were soft like they were sitting out for a day or longer. The whole dish was cold except for the fruit which was so weird.

The inside is a little deceiving as the booths and decor on the side that you walk in are cute, but on the other side they have tables with white/light coloured leatherette chairs that are so filthy with visible stains that are multiple shades of gray.

Overall would not recommend this place to anyone unfortunately.

Of all the brunch places I've been, this is a top contender. I loved the value for the amount of food given, and I also loved the variety. I got cinnabon pancakes, fruit, bacon, homefries, scrambled eggs, and a water. Almost everything was great. I don't even usually like pancakes but those pancakes were so good. The only thing I disliked were the scrambled eggs. They were way too runny. I couldn't eat them at all so I gave them to my mom. When I go back, if I decide to get eggs again, I will definitely ask to have them cooked well done.

After the pancakes, the best part was the homefries. I am obsessed with them. I will have to ask for homefries to go for the next time I go.

I actually went here on Canada's Day, July 1st, 2024, so this review is kind of late lol But I've been going to a lot of brunch places with my family lately and I can't stop thinking about this place so I thought it would be best to leave a review.

The place was clean and the service was great. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. But, unfortunately the food wasn’t good. We had the eggs and potatoes, only thing that was good were the potatoes. To be fair we didn’t try their crêpes or pancakes and because the service was good we will give this restaurant another chance and try their Crêpes and pancakes. ?

Also the place provide some HALAL options on their menu !

Update, was in the hospital and got properly diagnosed with gastroenteritis.
I had symptoms within 3 hours of eating here and dispelled pretty much my body weight in fluids and chunks. Please take proper sanitary methods so that no one else has to go through what I did. I could've actually died. Parents then got it through me, not a fun week. Missed work and functions.
Had the strawberry and banana custard crepe an orange juice and a water.

Food was good until I found fungus growing out of my fruits. At which point I stopped eating and told the staff. Who didn't even bother compensating!

We've eaten here numerous times, every visit has been lovely. Great food, excellent service. Crepe Castle is the best breakfast place in Ajax!
