Used to go here quite often , but haven’t been there for a while . Sad to say the service is absolutely terrible and the food quality and quantity went downhill . Found the server to be extremely rude . Happy to say they won’t be getting my business anymore !

Killer food here, it’s my go to Hakka spot for years now, this one and in Whitby. Amazing lunch specials ~$12 for a main with side, spring roll and a pop. Amazing hot sauce and chili vinegar to go with their meals on dine in, wish they sold them on their own or for takeout. Give this place a try.

Food is made fresh to order. Try their lunch specials for $6.99. I really like their chili chicken and general tao chicken. Best Hakka restaurant in Ajax.

I decided to dine in at one of my favorite Hakka Chinese restaurants in Durham region. The owner recognized me and said, "Long time no see." We've been ordering takeout there most of the time.

The daily lunch specials are now $11.50, which comes with vegetable spring roll and choice soft drink. For today's standards and the cost of food, it's still a great deal. The portions are still generous, and the food was just like the first visit... delicious. If you want to upgrade to egg fried rice, add $1.50 or $1.95 for Hakka noodles instead of steamed rice. There are 40 choices for the lunch specials, so it's definitely something for everyone.

The dining area is very clean and comfortable. Support your local restaurants and give them a try.

I've been a loyal customer of Fine Taste for a long time and have always enjoyed their food. However, today I decided to try the chili beef lunch special for the first time, and I was extremely disappointed. The dish had no flavor at all, which is not what I’ve come to expect from this restaurant. I'm not sure what has changed, but the quality seems to have dropped significantly. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but it’s definitely not the standard I’ve experienced before.

Unfortunately their dishes do not taste like authentic Hakka food. I've lived in Scarborough most of my life and if you've had Hakka food at Lucky's or Kim Kim, then you know what authentic Hakka food tastes like. From their soup to the chilli chicken, everything just didn't cut it; super bland and did not taste nothing like it should. You'd be better off eating or ordering from Mandarin, where you'd get more flavour. Since moving to Durham, there aren't any good Hakka food around, and ordering here was also a big let down.

Order chili chicken and beef hofun. Chicken serving was small and the serving was at least 40% chicken skin. Sauce was not tasty at all. Beef hofun was not that good.
