Fine Taste Hakka Restaurant

I must start by mentioning that this restaurant's strength is not atmosphere, ambience, and design. The restrooms might not be the cleanest, and the restaurant might be a little cluttered and grab. However, the food is delicious, with massive portions and very well priced. There was a large vegetarian section on the menu. We ordered the Ho fun noodles, tofu stir fry with black bean sauce, crispy ginger paneer and veggie balls in gravy. Each item had its own unique flavour and had a huge portion, that you rarely see these days. It is a hidden gem, as long as you don't go in expecting much in terms of decor and a huge wait staff. While we were there, it seemed like lots of people come here for takeout, which makes sense

FOOD TASTE IS WONDERFUL, PORTIONS ARE GENEROUS, SERVICE IS SPEEDY, I HAVE BEEN GETTING TAKEOUT ONLY SO SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE GET 4 STARS. THE PLACE IS NICE AND CLEAN ALSO. AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK SINCE FINDING THIS PLACE. LUNCH SPECIALS ARE GREAT ESPECIALLY BEEF & BROCCOLI, AND CHILLI BEEF DRY WITH FRIED RICE.

My family has been loyal customers here for years, but unfortunately this experience completely changed our view. We placed a large order for Christmas dinner, and the fried rice was spoiled. Because of the holiday and time constraints, we couldn’t return it and had no choice but to throw it all away.

When I called the next day, the person I spoke with asked endless questions and showed no willingness to help, no refund, no remake, nothing. She seemed unconcerned that we had spent nearly $100 on fried rice we couldn’t serve to our guests. She also referenced “policies” that she couldn’t provide in writing.

In total, we spent close to $600, yet the business made no effort to stand behind their food or take care of a longtime customer. This was easily the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others be cautious, especially if you receive spoiled food, as they may not take responsibility.

My wife and I moved nearby recently, and on our first weekend in our new apartment, we decided to try this restaurant out because we were craving Chinese food. The 🐔 🌽 soup was so delicious, and so were the other dishes we ordered. (I got something spicy, wife got honey garlic)

The food was so tasty, we will definitely be frequent customers 😁

Whenever I want special chicken fried rice I get it from here. The ladies who take my order are always friendly and the portions are always huge. Even when I ask for my chicken not cut they always oblige without complaint. If you’re looking for Guyanese fried rice look no further!

Been here a couple times…food is quite delicious, always taste super freshly made, and prices are decent!

But food isn’t actually fine

I got the lunch special (Bombay chicken with fried rice) and it was the best Hakka food I’ve had in a while. The service was quick and the staff were welcoming.
