Hakka Legend is great for veg food! Highly recommend the Veg balls in Manchurian sauce, spicy garlic tofu dry and fried tofu in Sichuan gravy. Usually get gravy but the dry SG tofu stole the show!

Scammers! Beware of this restaurant!
This place is running a new scam.
Please check your bill carefully before paying.
They automatically add a 15% tip to your bill, regardless of the number of people in your group. They don't inform you that the tip has already been added. Then, when you go to pay with your debit or credit card, they ask for a tip again on the card machine!
Terrible customer service and dishonest practices.
Make sure to ask for your receipt and check it thoroughly.

No salt, no seasoning, no flavor at all....too bad

Food is good. However they are resorting to a scam by adding 15% service charge to the bill (no matter the number of people dining) and when they give you the bill, they conveniently don't say that gratuity is already added, instead asking for a tip. Check your bills guys, scammers at work!

I had high hopes for this spot, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor, were noticeably overcooked, and came out dry. The batter was far too heavy, overwhelming any taste the ingredients might have had.

I’ve tried Hakka cuisine at many different restaurants, and I can honestly say this one sits at the bottom of the list. With so many better options out there, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for authentic, well-prepared Hakka food.

A dinner night with friends and family. We were 4 families together and got a huge table that could seat 20 people comfortably. The food was served in no time. Quantity of rice was ok but noodles was on the higher side. We tried all veggie options including sweet corn soup. A bowl of soup is good enough for 2-3 people so plan to order accordingly as you will have other dishes to try and the quantity is good for 2-3 of them. Panner fry was good but given it was a deep fry it's oily as well. Manchurian balls gravy was tender and soft.

Worth trying for sure.

I ordered a chilli chicken dry with spice at Uber eats and I pay $25 after taxes and service fees roughly around $19 and this is what I got when the food arrived

Absolutely unbelievable that this restaurant was able to put one spoon of chilli chicken. They are supposed to fill the container up with the bread and they put three or four pieces of chilli chicken and obviously I found the complaint to Uber and Uber. Didn’t issue any refund or store or store credit or anything? They said they were reported to the restaurant. I am very disappointed of the service that the restaurant gave us especially ordering from Uber eats and I think this restaurant needs to know that they should not be giving customers small portions of food. It’s a hot place. It’s supposed to have chicken to the top and instead they gave us leftover chicken Disappointed.

Worst food undercooked one item and gave wrong order for other , avoid and save money

Not a good place to have vegetables noodles and vegetarian soup. I ordered hot and sour veggies soup was not perfect and not as it should be at all. This place is not for north indian food. Also i ordered veggie hakka noodles for which i confirmed while ordering about what veggies it will be there in it and i got just four pieces of broccoli in it thats all no veggies in noodles for veggie noodles 😂
Also they charged 15% service charge for just two person dine in. Just to bring two dishes to tables which are not perfect by the way.

Found a staple pin in chicken pakora

We ordered take out food today
1. We ordered 2 egg fried rice with extra egg
even after ordering extra egg I can hardly see
egg in the fried rice ( imagine if I didn’t order
Extra egg) how would egg fried rice look
2. I have been a customer with Hakka Legend ( warden and eglinton) from 2004. After we moved to Ajax we have been dining and ordering from Ajax Hakka Legend. I should mention that the quality of food is different every time we order ( there is no consistency). My experience today was pathetic.( there is no salt, spices are not adequate, gravy is very less gets dried if you decide not to eat immediately)
3. I probably will not order or dine at Hakka legend again
4. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. There charges are good enough to give good quality of food
5. I recently suggested a friends family to dine. I will not hear after.
6. I was in mood to eat Indian Chinese food today as the weather is very cold. I am disappointed
