They will charge you for plates and spoons if you ask, food is good, can't deny that. But, if you are traveling and would like to share, expect to get charged for any plate etc.

Probably one of the worst hakka food ive ever tried. I saw really good reviews and decided to give it a try and regret it. The fried rice is white.. hard to even call it manchurian fried rice. Bombay chicken was okay. Chicken pakora did not taste good as other places ive tried. As someone whos tried multiple hakka restaurants, I do not recommend this at all. Save your money and time.

First, ordered app stated it was ready. Went into the restaurant and showed the clerk the uber number. Was told not ready to sit down. Unfortunately, most of the booths were already full with people waiting. After 10mins, got the food. Went home and opened it to taste the dishes. Honey garlic chicken... well it was covered in granulated sugar, no honey at all. The pieces were so over cooked, spongy and hard. Could not eat it at all. So Unfortunately, this is what my daughter eats. No food for her I guess. Bombay chicken......no flavor. Just salt flavor that it is. No spicy level at all. Very disappointing. Ginger chicken..... again no flavor. Seems to be watered down and only taste salt. Guess what..... the same goes for the fried rice. My child said the hakka chow mein was ok, but would rather any other placed compared to it. According to my whole family, the white plain rice was the best as there was no expectation involved. Save yourself time and money.. don't eat here. Just put some salt on rice and boiled chicken and you have the same taste.

I was charged a 10 percent surcharge, I was paying by debit and I was alone. My understanding in Ontario is that if you are paying by credit card or if it is a large group of people then a surcharge is sometimes added. The food was salty and the service was pretty much non existent except when she took my order and I asked for the bill!

Out of 10 orders they got it wrong 8 times, cancelled one without me asking them to and got it right once. They have 0 customer service skills and won't be back there.

The Hot and Sour Chicken soup was great ! Make sure you ask them to make it less spicy if you can’t handle spice. We ordered medium which was good enough for us !!
We also ordered mixed vegetables with chicken. I asked them for less salt , which they accommodated. The portion size is average , I would’ve liked a bit more.

Good food in large quantity for reasonable price, as what one would find typically in notable Hakka restaurants in the Scarborough/ Markham areas.
The Manchurian chicken soups was hot, reasonable spicy with large quantities of chicken - and that filled us up half way already.
Deep fried shrimp was ok. Lots of dough and the shrimp was pre-cooked. The red sauce that came with it was sweet and sour, and was ok too. Fried rice was amazing. Chilli fish has large quantities of fish that was tasty, but the gravy tasted more like brown gravy than the typical gravy infused with chillies. Has to ask for steamed rice which was free .
10% gratuity is added for dine in. 5% discount for cash orders.
The 2 Asian folks in the front were really friendly and attentive. We will definitely return and try other dishes there.
5 star for the overall experience. 4 stara for the food itself.
These is South Asian style Hakka Chinese. The food is spicy and really good.
The meat is Halal. The chili fish is good item to try here. You can call for takeout.

wasted my money.. the person who answered the phone didnt speak english well and i said more gravy chilli chicken and it has no gravy and spicy garlic fish i meant regular garlic fish its super spicy i can barely eat it !!!!! this is going straight to garbage awful !

My family and I just moved to Ajax today, and we tried the Chili Chicken at Hakka PAssion—it was really delicious and definitely worth recommending.

I really enjoyed the food and the lunch special was great until I asked for the bill. The female server handed me the debit machine without a reciept. I then asked for the reciept, she rolled her eyes and printed it out to then see a 10% auto tip. Worked out to my benefit as i usually tips 20% this is auto charge saved me money but I did not like the shadyness so I will not be coming back
