I love Hannah's pastries.. PINE tarts, Chinese cakes, cheese straws, mithai,
Guyanese style meat pies etc.. are very delicious. The pastry isn't heavy ... very flaky and light.
Hannah is opened Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday...I usually call before going. I think you have to order your
Meat pies on Tuesday for pick up on Wednesday. I like to place my order, so when I arrive..it's ready.
Real guyanese taste.
Hannah herself is very honest and won't sell you anything stale..

Vegetarian options: The pastries are all vegetarian..except for the mest pies.

I purchased cheese straws 2 weeks ago and they were excellent. However my 2nd purchase was too salty and no cheese taste. Please try harder for consistency.

Bought the cheese-straws from a West Indian grocery store and they were so good! 10/10 would recommend!

I wanted pone so much, I bought 2 pieces and was totally disappointed. It was soft in the top, hard white in the middle soft at the bottom. Like everything got separated.?

Bought a pack of cheese roll. I'm still looking for the cheese in this roll. Ting is all pastry, no cheese. Pastry is nice and flakey I'll give it that. But a cheese roll actually has to have a good ratio to the pastry. This is just a flour roll.

I love the cheese straws and want to get at least boxes for others but the store itself is never open. I've come by (from Vaughan mind you), when it said open, and never been able to go. I mean, you cannot boast being a snackette and not be open during hours listed on your own door. This is very aggravating

Not happy with the Cassava Pone I bought on Saturday Nov. 20th. Middle layer of cassava was very hard/uncooked, outside very tasty. Just my feedback for improvement.

I have been going to Hannah since 2018 and she has always gone above and beyond. She is so friendly, kind and accommodating, and her cakes always blow everyone away with their amazing taste, I always get so many compliments on the cake taste whenever I bring Hannah’s deserts to a party! Her cakes have really made all my special events, 1000 times more amazing and memorable. I would never go anywhere else!
