Just an update about the food and service here. I was just there the other day...ordered
Doubles and dalpuri with chicken wrap.
Both were delicious....the roti was so fresh
Along with the meat...really, really tasty.
Doubles were also great. I find that this restaurant is consistent with the taste of their food and also service is great.

The staff at Lena's are friendly and respectful. Their service is great. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. The food on the other hand is tasteless. The curry is watered down. A lot of turmeric, not flavorful at all. The boneless chicken and goat had more potatoes than meat. I would definitely not recommend going to this restaurant for their curry! Not worth the $$$.

The wait time for a small roti and 2 doubles was 20 minutes and people were still ordering after me and getting their food first, pretty ridiculous. Then both doubles were absolutely soggy and not properly packed. Food is tasty but wont be returning, extremely disappointing.

I had roti and doubles before and was craving them again, I googled this place and drove from Oshawa to get order here. I ordered the Roti & Doubles as well as their Pilar and tambourin and left with a happy belly. Needless to say I will be ordering form here again and they have gained a longtime customer for sure! :)

Terrible. Are these people even Trini ? This is not authentic at all.
I got a boneless chicken dinner and its not even edible. The rice is watery and overcooked. The dinner had no channa or potato just dry chicken with little gravy. I threw the entire meal out. So upsetting. What a waste. Never again. I've come a few times and been disappointed but after this I won't be back.

Tastes good, but if you order boneless chicken roti, you will choke on a few bones. pulled 3 out so far and not even at half. Literally just the beginning.

I tried the Aloo Chana dhaal for the first time and I’m a fan now. It was so delicious that I can’t wait to come again. The cashier was awesome and everything was perfect.

I’ve been here many times and the food is consistently delicious and high quality. The doubles taste just like the ones from the vendors in Trinidad and the roti is well seasoned.

Lena's Roti & Doubles offers great tasting Trinidadian cuisine, including Doubles, Roti, Bakes, stews, and lots more! They have five locations in the GTA. I visited the one in Ajax recently.

Their menu has lots to offer and it took us a while to decide but we ended up ordering Doubles, Goat Pie, Bake and Salt Fish, Bake and Smoke Herring, and Curry Duck with Rice. It was all delicious but my favourite was the Curry Duck. It had lots of great flavour.

As full as we were, we had to try their house-made ice cream: Mango, Soursop, and Pina Colada. They were all good!

Everything was delicious! Give them a try!

I ordered two doubles and I was served in less than two minutes. Two minutes is also an exaggeration. I kinda suspected it to be pre made and I wasn’t wrong. I drove with the packed doubles for only 15 min and when I opened it they were stuck to the wrapping paper like it was sitting for long and the bread was soggy and turned white at the bottom. Disappointed for sure! I didn’t mind waiting! But please don’t serve leftovers from a day before. It is unfair for the consumer. I have had doubles from other places and drove the same distance but never had this situation before

Jerk chicken here is 🔥! Nice little gem of a place, randomly walked in because I was hungry and turned out to be an amazing find.
