We were at The MacKenzie Pub on Sunday January 5/2025.It was Rib & Wings special. The food was absolutely delicious, perfect ribs & wings. But the best part was the waitress, Farah , she was fabulous, great service, above & beyond .She definitely deserves 10 🌟🌟🌟

Friends of ours have been going here for years and invited my wife and I a couple of times. The food and atmosphere were great and the staff very friendly.
We continued to go and have noticed the quality of food has been going down over the past couple of months.
We are easy going people and usually don’t complain. Our last time there we had to send the food back. Overcooked and burnt. Management came over to talk to us but instead of apologizing they told us our food was still edible. What?
Our friends told us last night how horribly they were treated after years of loyalty to the restaurant. It was ridiculous and insulting.
Based on that and our recent treatment we will not be returning.
We spent an average of $600 a month there and our friends spent over $1000 a month. I guess they don’t need the money.
They don’t care about people and they don’t care about money.
Perfect place for anyone who wishes to be treated like garbage and enjoy subpar food.

We were on our way to Ajax to visit some family and stopped by here on the way. They had a nice patio so we decided to give this place a try. The wings were absolutely amazing - crispy, juicy, and steaming hot! (The best combo with the beers we had) What really made our visit special was the friendly service from our waitress, Kate. She was attentive, warm, and made sure we had everything we needed, all with a great attitude. Mackenzie Pub is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

This place is amazing. All staff are so nice and bring energy. The patio is very nice and peaceful and the food is delicious. I recommend getting the carbonara as it tastes great! Definitely coming back here.
Our experience at Makenzie Pub and restaurant was nothing short of outstanding we dined in twice! First a family dinner and second was a friend's birthday celebration.Whether you're sitting inside or outside (patio) it was delightful. The menu option were perfect variety of deliciousness. Everything we tried was great. The staff were courteous, attentive and pleasant they were tolerant of small alteration and goes above and beyond to assure visitor's satisfaction. Really impress by the service. Definitely will recommend and will come back again.

Last night I went to Mackenzie’s Pub for a birthday dinner with my friends. There was 8 of us and wow what a beautiful patio it was to dine at. Finally a place in Durham region with a lively atmosphere. The food was delicious. We ordered calamari, potato skins, Yager snitzel and the curry roll to start with. Some of my friends went for the daily specials we heard the pub was widely known for because the head chef creates tasty meals (huge portions) made from Scratch for way less!
We had amazing service, it’s nice to see a pub have staff that is energetic and engages with the customers! I’d definitely come again, and recommend this pub for anyone to celebrate a bday, event or just order one of the chefs specials.

It was disgusting !!! I was in the Restaurant and it was awful so I ordered to see if the food was good being ordered nd it was extremely bad. I actually threw up after two bites of the chicken fingers and fries and my mother couldn’t even eat her Guinness steak and kidney pie with vegetables and mashed potatoes because the taste was rotten for both. First try was def the last try. I wouldn’t recommend!!!
