A reliable spot for South Indian takeout if you're in the area. The food is average—it hits the spot but doesn't particularly stand out in flavor or authenticity. It's a solid, okay choice for a quick meal.

I ordered two fried rice for lunch and it was very disappointing. The rice was bland and tasteless, strangely sweet, and the egg york smelled bad — making it unfit to eat.
It was a waste of money. Honestly, the dish made the meaning of “fried rice” meaningless.
Strongly hope the restaurant improves its quality, because this was unacceptable.

Bought this puttu mix (Large) for almost $10 and they just couldn’t be generous to fill it up. Many times they fill less and charge so much.
Will try another place. These ppl are getting too cheap and only want $$.
Won’t recommend.

**Food Safety Warning**
Dont buy the food from these people. Bought a Mutton Kothu Roti and found little pieces of white plastic in there. Truly disgusting workers, no accountability whatsoever. (Check the picture, I opened my trash to take a pic and there's one right there in the pic. )

We always buy milk hoppers at the Harwood location.
The best hoppers ever.
My husband and I were genuinely DISGUSTED by the mutton-egg roll we received from New Spiceland Restaurant. It was COLD, STALE, and SMELLED off. The outer shell was rubbery and chewy, and the filling was a disaster: dry, cold, and barely had any meat. Why will someone even pay for this?
If a restaurant CANNOT SERVE FRESH food, it should not serve it at all. We wasted our money on something completely inedible, and it ruined our experience.
Never ordering from here again.
Food somewhat stale in the evening. I got the puttu and it tasted off. Disappointing.
Other items were not too bad but it's a gamble.
My daughter and I went there today and I bought the mutton rolls. They were so delicious and stuffed with meat and veggies. Nice bit of heat but not overly spicy.
I also bought the onion pakora. They too were so good.
I bought this roti that was stuffed with curried chick peas, mung dahl, onions and spuds. Omg so very good. Well definitely be back.
We bought the tandoori chicken as well and these balls stuffed with mung beans and coconut. It's sweet and so delicious.
Give them.a try.
I was second in line in the line area. 3 staff. I went to the food I wanted when it was my turn and was in awe when all of a sudden there were people that showed up and for 15 min I watched people get served. Staff saw me there. I am a professional caucasian woman. I then just left the buffet area without saying anything. I did not make a scene even though I was so hungry and did not want to be unprofessional. Never again will I go there.
