I placed an order for a birthday cake. Email communication with the bakery was very easy. Compared to other local bakeries, their custom cakes are very affordable. The cake was beautifully decorated as requested, however when we cut the cake, we realized the cake flavour was not what we requested for. The flavour requested was marble, and the cake flavour received was chocolate, which was disappointing. Nevertheless, the cake tasted great, it was moist. The buttercream however was a bit too sweet for my family’s liking. Overall a solid cake for the price.

I ordered a birthday cake from Our Little Bakery two years ago and it was great. So I ordered from here again but really wish I hadn’t. The frosting was way too sweet… so much so that it completely overpowered the cake and made it almost inedible. We will need to throw what’s left of it away. Doubly disappointing because I wanted to buy from a local business and because it was for a family member who lives overseas, so I wanted it to be special.

I do not have enough good things to say about this bakery. hesrd about it from a friemd that always uses them, first - They called me after their office hours to discuss what I was looking for in a cake✔️ they were willing to help me think of design ideas for the top when I wasn't sure what to have and it not look too busy ✔️ order was ready in perfect timing and I had left it pretty last minute✔️ I got the closing time on the Saturday wrong when I had to pick up the cake and was stuck in traffic in Scarborough, they called me and said to come whenever I was able to because they'd still be there closing down, and they we're still so polite when I arrived finally to pick it up, most places would have said "sorry about your luck". I thought that was ABOVE and beyond amazing customer service, and I'm so thankful for them for taking that stress off me ✔️✔️ the price of these cakes can NOT be beat ✔️ the cake itself was AH-MAZING!! everyone at my son's party loved it, some even wanting seconds. it was moist, not overly sweet and the icing was smooth ✔️ and where it's not something I ordered for my son's birthday I can't seem to walk in there and not buy the most DELICIOUS rice crispy square I've ever had, or their chocolate covered oreos. my goodness they are heaven! I can't wait to try more goodies from there and future cakes for both kids' birthdays, Easter, summer break, just because cakes - because it's that worth it!
I recently purchased their Skor butter tarts . They were possibly the best tart I ever had, highly addictive . Can’t wait to get some more. Their scones are also excellent as well as the raspberry coconut squares.

While I have not ordered a custom cake from here, I have visited a few times and purchased some pre-made baked goods. The staff was above and beyond and very attentive. The prices are good for what you get and the lemon crumble bars are my absolute favorite. The custom cakes they have on display are very stunning. Also they have a little handmade craft section with cute things at a reasonable price. All in all, a great recommendation for a local bakery.

The staff here is so friendly and helpful! I have some food allergies and I wasn’t sure what items to select confidently. The young girl decorating sugar cookies when I arrived stopped to assist me with my selections. She was knowledgeable with the ingredients of the squares and cookies and guided me towards my safer options. All of which proved to be good choices and were very tasty! The German chocolate cookies were a hit at home and we will definitely be coming back for more. Thank you for such a positive experience.

Placed an order about a month in advance for a cake for my daughter’s baptism. Spoke with Ashlyn & Tori about the type of cake I wanted and even sent pictures. Needless to say what I ordered and what I received were completely different. I picked up the cake on Saturday November 16th for my daughter’s Baptism on Sunday November 17th. When I opened the box the icing on the cake was lumpy, messy and the flowers that were suppose be on the cake were now at the bottom of the box. I immediately called them and they asked me to bring back the cake and they would fix it. When I picked up the cake for the 2nd time it was worse than the 1st one. The icing was even worse, the flowers had all melted on top of the cake and the back of the cake had a big opening going across. The staff took no responsibility, were extremely rude and blamed everything on me, the customer. I have sent several emails demanding a full refund but no one has had the courtesy of emailing me back. In the end my daughter ended up with no cake for her Baptism. I was heart broken and will never order from Our Little Bakery again and I definitely won’t be recommending their services to any of my family and friends .
