My husband ordered the pistachio cake for my birthday and Mary graciously accommodated our pick-up, despite it being a holiday. A lot of Canadian baking is not to our liking due to it being overly sweet, but not this one.
Mary’s pistachio cake is beautiful to look at, has a wonderful moist, but at the same time light airy texture and the level of sweetness is just right. It is the ideal summer time cake. Highly recommend Pesteh bakery!

Loved the Pistachio cake!! Ordered it for my husband’s birthday and we loved it. The cake was fresh, soft and the flavour and texture were awesome. It was perfectly baked and decorated. Also the cake was loaded with pistachios which we loved.

My sister ordered a celebration cake from here for my birthday. It was delivered to my home on time and the cake was very pretty. I was so excited to eat it but once I cut into the cake it was very hard and dense. It tasted stale and hard like it was an old cake. The closest comparison to taste I could think of is the 5$ frozen small cakes at No Frills. I was very disappointed as I thought it would be fluffy and soft and hoped it tasted as good as it looked.

I ordered a Pistachio Cake and Saffron Cake for family birthdays and they were a big hit! The flavours are delectably real and authentic. The adults in my family especially appreciated these cakes because of their traditional taste. The cake itself is so light and fluffy. Mary is so kind and sweet. She was helpful when I shared our dietary restrictions. She is truly passionate about her business and baking quality cakes with love for the community. Highly recommend Pesteh Bakery! 💚🍰
