Haven’t gotten food here in a while but breakfast this morning was so good.. great customer service and priced is affordable to me. And portion size is also great. I got the liver breakfast and when I say it tasted so good and the server was so professional and nice. Thank you Chan

Hospital food: it was absolutely crap. Completely microwaved and utter garbage with Uncle Ben's rice pretending to be authentic Caribbean: you are a disgrace. Worst restaurant in Ajax.

They keep getting better and better. I love the fry chicken and jerk chicken is my favourite! Never had jerk chicken that tasty. What a hidden gem yum

First it's a dollar extra to add gravy to your rice (but at the Salem location it's included) then the employee is very rude, finally they give you your order in a scented plastic bag?! Who wants their food smelling like laundry?!

All the 1 star reviews are true. I should have just read the reviews first before going here. Never again. Also, staff should be happy that customers are coming in and wanting to buy food. The cashier had such an uninviting attitude. The fried dumpling tasted like fried bread and smelt like dough, very undercooked. The chicken was unseasoned and she rushed the order while there was no other guests in the restaurant.

This was at the Westney location and we went to the Salem location after and it was 10/10 night and day difference in service and food, and food options.

I ordered a medium chicken soup paid just under $8 and received ZERO boil dumplings. Never again…

I’m not sure who’s cooking but please stop. A keep and salt fish just swimming in oil, the whole bag is full of oil cause it’s just leaking out everywhere. I’m not sure how this is a fry dumpling??? This is bread? Fry bread. $15 for soup and bread?

I actually never used to like Sunrise food at all until 1 day when Shanette at this location prepared my fish! She is the best Sunrise chef ever! #1 Fish! She does it just right! I'm addicted. When you're a real Jamaican you know good food when you taste it. The other day this location didnt have fish so my friend and I went to the location on Kingston Road. Was the biggest mistake ever! I was so disappointed! Next time I'll wait on the Westney location. ?% recommended ? The whole staff is very friendly too. Great customer service.Sorry I really can't rate their Chicken and oxtail etc because I only eat fish.

I know the running joke about Jamaican restaurants is the terrible the customer service the better the food.Sunrise, please note this does not apply to you. The food is not that good to be having bad customer service. Now I know to take my business to a mom and pop Jamaican cookshop. Thanks for the nudge ?

Love this restaurant! Since the new owners took over, it has improved so much! I have nothing bad to say the food is 10/10 with great costumer
