Very poor service, not even a Hello when you walk in, just pure attitude .If my husband didn't want to try their doubles, I would have walked right back out.It was not worth it, not the same as before. I definitely won't return; definitely not worth it.

We haven't been to this restaurant in years but had previously really enjoyed the food. Today, we ordered a jerk chicken roti and jerk chicken with rice and peas. The jerk chicken roti was VERY small! It was as thin as a peanut butter sandwich and roughly the same size! The roti was honestly just that, roti with hardly and potatoes or jerk chicken. With tax we paid $20 per person! Taste was good, however so poor in terms of quantity for the price!! Wouldn't go back again much better options in Ajax and Pickering!

I love this place, and make a point to eat here once or twice a month! I would likely attend more frequently if it wasn't a 30 min drive from home. Everything I have had here has been delicious!
Parking: I have never run into any issues trying to find parking here. There is a large parking lot available to use.

Always friendly staff. Family owned. Great Trinidad flavours. That was my post from 5 years ago. I stand behind it still.
Vegetarian options: Potato, channa, and varied veggies are offered.

Their Roti is the best in Durham and Metro, but they could use a little more curry.
Parking: It's in a plaza, so there's plenty of parking spots.
Kid-friendliness: Good atmosphere and no cussing.

Atmosphere: 1st time customer--- upon walking in, it felt like the typical hole-in-the-wall spot. It was nice to see some photos of T&T on the walls, but the setting lacked ambiance. Not even some soca music to keep us entertained as we dined in. There was also a big fly that greeted us upon entry ?, which I brought to the cashier's attention. She was unbothered by it, and I guess it eventually disappeared to the back area of the restaurant.
Service: The cashier/server seems to lack understanding of service with a smile and knowledge of items. We had to ask her too many times what the cost of the Sunday special was--- this info NEEDS to be better advertised on the board. Even the cashier seemed confused by that lack of written info. She is def not Trini and is undertrained. It was eventually evident by how she dressed my aloo pie. As a matter of fact, it made me cringe that she went from the cash till to a cooler box on the side to get my aloo pie. Why isn't this housed in a kitchen, in warmers, or handled by kitchen staff?
Food: That BBQ chicken combo was pretty good! Rice was full of favor, a bit much salt tho but overall, a good combo, just pricey (roughly $23 after tax). The chicken was tender, and the sauce was tasty. The potato salad had egg in it (risky), but it paired well with the flavors of the rice. At least it wasn't a long wait for food. Unfortunately, my aloo pie was barely lukewarm and lacked sauces. The filling was a bit salty but had good texture.
Overall, I would try their food again but won't want to dine in.

This place used to have great roti and doubles...has steadily been on the decline. I went in there today, staff was beyond rude (which they kinda always have been, but you tolerated it for the food), the prices were ridiculous ($16 for a roti and $3.75 per double) for what were very small portions, and to boot they're debit machine wasn't working so they asked me to send an e-transfer! No thanks...the rude miserable woman behind the counter could have cared less anyways. Never going back, I suggest you go look somewhere else.

Great food. Great people who work hard and as fact as humanly possible. A bit more expensive than I like to pay, but when you are buying homemade, it is worth the money.
