I found the portion sizes to be disappointingly small for the price. Additionally, the sauces provided were minimal, leaving the dishes feeling a bit incomplete and dry. Seafood, in my opinion, is best enjoyed with flavorful accompaniments, and I was hoping for a more generous serving of sauces to elevate the meal.

We went to Captain Boil last night, and we were really disappointed. Although the place was near empty, the service was very slow. It’s been a while since we were at this restaurant, but we were shocked at the small portions of food. There was a point in time when the bags of food they brought to the table were full, but now they are near empty. Half of a potato and crab legs or half of a potato and a lobster tail is $45 each. I don’t think it’s worth it. You literally get more food when you order chicken tenders with fries.

Wow is all I gotta say. I've never seen a hand dryer duck tapped to the wall before. You'd think with charging market price for seafood, one dish was over 300.00 per person, they could afford fixing the bathroom. Service was horrible, not to mention after finally receiving a take out container, the server dragged her long, not rolled up sleeve, through the food. my husband and I both wanted the lobster, but unfortunately they didn't have any........it's a seafood restaurant.....I gave it a 2 for atmosphere because it looks great from outside, until you get in there, and freeze your ass off. We most certainly will not be back.

Good food but 5 shrimps for $22.00 it’s unbelievable. I’ve been to all locations and it’s always been a pound of shrimp. When ordered, server forgot to mention it wasn’t a pound anymore.
i can say we were the 1st to visit this place when it opened and yesterday marks the last time we're eating in this place...their food serving used to be so good...we didnt mind the value because their portion was really fair...but in our last 2 dine in's (yesterday was the 2nd) jts very clear they are cost cutting...to the management, please dont play ignorant and think ur regular customers will not notice the small servings.. its us who supoorts local businesses like this in our city continue to grow...i wont be surprised if capt boil ajax suddenly call it quits in a few months...i think they are not doing well and has no choice but to cut their serving portion like this.

Great seafood boil place. Reasonable pricing for the amount your get (which is calculated by weight). Prepare to get messy as while they give you bibs and gloves, you'll inevitably get other parts of your body dirty! Shrimp juice spray anyone?
