It was my daughters birthday so the 4 of us came to the Captains boil to give it a try. We settled on the pirates feast for $145 and the girl informed us that they were out of headless shrimp and dungeons crab. We asked about adding the king crab and she told us that for $112 you get two big legs so we added it. The robot server was new to us and kind of cool. When the food came we only got one crab leg ( not even a LB) , the shrimp were in full form, the lobster in full form so the amount of work you had to put into everything was a little disappointing. The seafood rice was my favourite ( very tasty) and the medium Cajun sauce had a nice kick to it and very flavourful. This was our second time trying a seafood boil, the first being at the seasalt cafe ( which we really enjoyed). The atmosphere at the captains boil was great but I preferred the food at the seasalt cafe better. I’m not sure if we will give captains boil another shot but it wasn’t horrible.

We went with a party of 8 and my wife and I were the first to order. Everyone got their food and had to ask the waiter the status of ours. After more waiting and prompting they rushed my food out. More waiting and the waiter admits my wife’s order for her boil never made it to the kitchen. He suggested an appetizer to order since it would be quick. He was very apologetic and didn’t charge for her shrimp and fries. Food was just ok, boil portions were small and some of the options were overpriced. Small lobster market price that night was $80.

I've been eyeballing this place for a while now. I was so excited when my friend brought me for dinner. We went for the shrimp & mussels promotion. I love that it's all you can eat. Different sauces and options. You're given a bib and gloves. My complaint was I wish the gloves were tighter around the wrists. Mine kept slipping off. I would definitely come back and try some of the other seafood options

We need to have more places like this as this not another bar or a diner with no personality. You go here for the seafood, experience and food. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and enjoy food. The crab was amazing followed by Shrimps. Only bad feedback is some items like Lobster were unavailable on the menu.

We were very excited to visit here for the first time, but were sightly disappointed. The food was ok, we got a lobster boil and snow crab boil, however the side portions could have been a little bigger for the cost of the dish. We were a little surprised that they did not serve any hot beverages as well. The music was almost too loud to be able to have a conversation with the person sitting across from you.
We probably should have visited the bathroom prior to ordering our food to get an idea of the actual cleanliness of the restaurant...had to switch stalls to one that had a handle and lock that actually worked.

Reviews not lying avoid this location! The boil portion came out much smaller than the usual at other restaurants, was not served warm, lots of empty shells, potato crunchy and not cooked sufficiently, corn also crunchy and not cooked sufficiently and had only one thrown in instead of typical 2, and very little sauce aswell inside in boil. Just avoid.

We ordered the shrimp and crab Captain’s boil which was tasty, but the shrimp were not deveined and we spent too much time cleaning it with a toothpick before eating it. The rest of the food was cold by the time we got to it.

Food was not tasty, very disappointing. There are many better boils around now. The captain has abandoned ship. :(

Bad customer service. We were not attended to for quite some time, and people who arrived after us were served first. Our main dishes came out before our drinks and appetizers, which made the whole experience feel disorganized. The server seemed uninterested and gave the impression that he didn’t even want to be there. On top of that, the food quality has noticeably declined—the Captain Boil sauce tasted completely off compared to before. Overall, this was an absolute horrible experience at this location and definitely the worst visit we’ve had.
