We ordered catering from The Darbar for about 100 people. Owner Harbajan and also met with his 2 sons who helped us with the choices of main course. The food was excellent, our guests were repeatedly asking from where the food was, since it was very good. They delivered to us in Whitby. Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices.I will be back. The service is so quick which i liked most. Came here for my moms bday dinner and do not regret it! If you’re looking for a good dine in Indian restaurant in Pickering/Ajax, this place is an amazing option! Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food met expectations and beyond - I say this as a brown person. Everything we ordered was vegetarian, so can only speak to that. Will definitely be going back

My experience at Darbar Restaurant was excellent. The chole bhature were flavourful and satisfying, while the samosa chaat offered a delightful mix of crispy and tangy elements. Is okay not athletic idian food avg taste. Better than some restaurants out there for sure !!! Butter chicken wasn't grilled. Rice was okay.
