I don't know where to begin. The food was below average. I never say such things about food, but they made me do so. Nothing was made with bare minimum efforts, it seemed like they mixed tomato puree which had been in the fridge for days, while masalas weren't even cooked. No salt, no spice, talk about indian cuisine? For chilli paneer, they mixed paneer with soy sauce mixed with little spices. I genuinely thought the chef had called in that day and the server had to cook, probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The only thing i liked was onions(which were raw of course, cause if they had to cook they would have made something horrible out of it). Lacha paratha was okay, that's the only thing i though was okay. Let's just hope they were missing a cook that day. If this is how they cook, god bless this critique.

We ordered catering from The Darbar for about 100 people. Owner Harbajan and also met with his 2 sons who helped us with the choices of main course. The food was excellent, our guests were repeatedly asking from where the food was, since it was very good. They delivered to us in Whitby. Definitely would recommend their food and service for catering (Y)
