Had a party booked last night under Taylor everything was going great we had a blast normally our go to spot for birthdays! Unfortunately our server named Sarah was very rude towards the end all the reciepts were messed up she thought one of us walked out without paying but some people paid with cash and I guess another waiter paid the person out. she freaked on us saying how it will just come out her pay huffing and puffing rolling her eyes. Very bad server Unfortunately and should not treat your guests like that. Maybe next time go the back and ask your coworkers if they helped you.
I wish I couldve tipped you more. But overall I just couldnt after the stunt that was pulled. And you hardly checked on us and asked if we needed anymore drinks we had to go find you or ask another waiter.

Came here for an event. Owner was great. Very helpful and put a section aside for our party. Staff was nice for the most part. Sarah was awesome.
Unfortunately someone walked by our table and stole a beer off the table...but that's out of the venue's control. The owner was kind enough to replace it for us.
Live band was very good, dj was great. Overall we had fun.
Next time I want to try some food.

I have had a staff party here in the past, and the buffet that was laid out was delicious.

I have also attended several live performances here over the years.

The acoustics are great, and the dance floor is an average size. The only thing that I would like to see improved is an increase in seating that faces the stage.

Regardless, I always have a great time when I go to The Edge.

I've only been there once and the atmosphere was fun. Live band, people dancing. It was a pretty packed bar.

We visited The Edge for the first time last night. The band was great and Sarah was our server for the last half of the night and she was amazing - a very hard worker, attentive and really on the ball.

Thanks Sarah!

Great joint to play pool and/or check out a good bar band. Good food, decent service, and reasonable prices.

They had a live band. The guitarist was impressive, played some Prince riffs that were quite difficult and did it well! I think they were called Your New Neighbors.

It was an older crowd. Many people in their 60s at least. The male to female ratio in the bar greatly favoured the women. Lots of women, not many men.

Come with cash or be prepared to use the private atm there. Cash only to pay cover, and cash only to order drinks from the bar.

Washrooms were fairly clean for a bar. Staff were polite even though it was busy, and I saw them helping various patrons. Lots of security, but the place felt safe and clean.

The Edge is very unique. The live bands are good, the food is also good nice spot to hang out my only issue is the DJ needs to update his catalog and stop playing the same mix week after week

Been coming here for over 10 years. I hope they never close. Here is the scoop:

The Edge is one of 3 very consistent spots that caters to an older crowd - Dirty Martini out west, Forty40 up north, the Edge in the East. If you are 30+ and go out, I put it in the category of must check out.

* its a place you can hang your coat up, nobody will take it
* its a place with live music (you don't see that many places)
* in between sets there is a DJ
* there is a person actually called Superman here - he wears a cape, he doesn't drink, he will outdance you!
* the crowd here is very humble, you can but do not have to dress up here, come as you are
* sound system is on point, acoustics are nice!
*very safe atmosphere, older crowd (note 30s-40s-50s), it is a place where you can go as a couple, lots of respect here
* a good amount of regulars here, they do well so people come back
* you can dance hard as you like here, people are a little more relaxed, everyone is having their own fun

Its very different from a nightclub atmosphere. If you are in the GTA, go out, fit the age group 30 + I recommend you see what this place is about!
