If you want a breakfast bagel, this is the place to go! The prices are very reasonable, you can see the bagels being baked right there in-house, so freshness guaranteed, a large variety of different flavours of bagels, staff is wonderful and our breakfast bagels were very tasty.
Way better than going to Tim Hortons for the same thing!

I would highly recommend the pickering location over the oshawa location. The pickering location treats their customers with respect and they have a much better selection of bagels. It is worth the drive.

Owners are good hearted people, this has to be the best location of the great Canadian bagels. Pretty low on bagels if you go later in the day, so for all the selection go earlier in the day!

My day is so much brighter when I stop in at the Great Canadian Bagel in Ajax. I typically get a Turkey Club on a sesame seed bagel and I can say I am never disappointed. Service is friendly and I can only imagine the people on here who complained are only projecting their own negativity.

My favorite bagel shop. They do something different here because the other great canadian bagels in the area are not nearly as good. The people behind the counter are sweet and friendly, not sure what some of the comments are talking about.
Bagels are delicious! and Lady, who works there, is so nice and helpful:) The amount of cream cheese that she puts on our bagels is very generous:):):)

Food - smells terrible, prepared poorly Service - don't bother coming in with a smile or being polite, you will be greeted with a frown and extremely rude staff. Atmosphere - dark, unpleasant, not well kept. 90% of restraunts in ajax will provide better service in all three of these categories. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
