I have lived in the neighborhood for 15+ years, and only just found this hidden gem this summer. It has quickly become a favourite spot for me.
I am a “busy working mom” in an executive role and, in an effort to circumvent burnout, I went looking for “me-breaks”….. and I found the Village Public House.
I go all by myself with a book. I sit on the patio and have lunch reading…. And I leave full, happy, and renewed!
The food is EXCELLENT! I have never been disappointed (I’ve enjoyed charcuterie, cheese board, grilled cheese, fish and chips, burgers, poppers, perogies, wings, salads…). Every single thing has been amazing.
The service is top-notch. Super friendly and attentive … never makes me feel rushed even though I stay for a while taking a table as just one person while I read.
Every time I visit, I leave feeling comforted like I have been “at home”, and renewed like I had a mini-vacation….. it is a 5++++ stars for me!
My friend's and I love this place...staff are great, food is really good, atmosphere is lovely. A definite favourite!

Had the Blue Cheese burger. It was one of the best I have ever had. Real blue cheese crumbles. My wife had the cheese burger with home made fries and she raved about it.
