The food is amazing!!!! Great selection and literally no bad option on the menu. Take out or dine in, it's always a great experience. Staff are super friendly and attentive! We love dining in and taking out! It's definitely our go to place!

We ordered chicken chilli fried rice and pepper shrimp. Taste was good for both, i just felt that the chilli chicken pcs were a bit dry. However overall taste, quality and food was really good.

Its not a very large place at the Ajax location. Takeout service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming staff. First time trying Zen out, so I went with the Zen Special Fried Rice, Special Low Mein, and the Peppered Shrimp. Overall the Fried Rice and Lo Mein was quite good, but a little on the pricier side compared to other restaurants offering the same dish. The Peppered Shrimp however was very good and I would buy that again. I recommend anyone to try out Zen Restaurant for themselves.

They have a great lunch special and amazing food! It is seasoned so well and the owner was incredibly friendly. The peppered shrimp and the chilli chicken with fried rice were the highlights. Will definitely be back!

Came by around 1:30pm with friends. Take out only spot with a long sidebar table by the window with a few seats. Ordered the lunch special “Zen House Chicken” and upgraded to veggie fried rice. My total came up to just over $11. My friends both ordered the “Jerk Chicken” plate one small & one large. One thing I’d say is that the meat to rice ratio is favouring more rice as there wasn’t as much chicken as I’d expect but overall still enjoyed. My friends enjoyed the jerk chicken and it came with a side of coleslaw which was also great. I’d say to give this place a try!

Though menu is not the ideal Caribbean. It is mostly Chinese infusion. They don’t really do table service but packaged food can be eaten at the service area.

Me and my boyfriend ordered from here our first time the owner (I assume) was very friendly and very nice and accommodating he warned us about the wait which was close to hour but it was definitely worth it the food was delicious there were some pieces of chicken that were just cartilage but it was still pretty good the pepper shrimp was some of the best I’ve ever had and the veg fried rice was packed with veggies overall very good and would try again !!!
