The service and atmosphere is amazing. Friendliest customer service I’ve ever received in my life !! And the place is really nice and clean. However, I was really disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, I didn’t even eat it, I ended up tossing it out after a few bites. The oxtail lacked flavour/seasoning and could’ve been softer. The jerk pork was sooo salty, it had a really weird taste, I think it’s the kinda seasoning they use. I was honestly really disappointed, I really wanted to like this place especially because they are such sweet people. However, if you’re actually Jamaican or Grew up on Jamaican food you’ll see the foods not too good. I hope they’re able to maybe do some tweaks to how they season the food to better it. I would love to see this place have good business

I want to give a big thanks to Zack and his mom!They were so hospitable and friendly from the time they took my order and even while I waited for my order.The jerk pork and curry goat were incredible. Me and my kids loved their Ginger Carrot cake and Tropical Cheesecake. They also had a split pea soup that was one of the best I have ever had.Will be visiting with the family to dine-in next time, thank you guys!

One of the best Caribbean spots in all of the GTA! Amazing people, clean and comfortable establishment, food is amazing. What really sets this place aside is the owners. Everything is made with care and passion. Taste is top tier and portions sizes are amazing. Tropical Delight will not disappoint.
My mom and I came across this restaurant while visiting Ajax and we were absolutely blown away by this place! Right when we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. The staff (both mother and son) were very welcoming, and friendly and you could feel the love they have for their restaurant and the people that walk in to try their food. Our food was outstanding, good proportions and full of flavour! We definitely left with happy bellies! Tropical Delight Eatery has now become one of our favourite spots to eat! We will for sure make the commute to Ajax just to eat here!

Just grabbed takeout from this place and wow!! The folks here are super friendly. I tried the homemade lemonade first, and it was top-notch. The soup warmed me up just right, and the curried goat? Incredible. The beef patty they make in house was packed with meat and super flavorful. Oh, and I can't forget the cabbage — it was to die for. Can't wait to go back and actually sit down for a meal. This spot is definitely one of those hidden gems you're thrilled to find…thank you!

We purchased food from this restaurant and to our amazement, the food was terrible, tasted stale and rice/peas plus seasonal vegetables overcooked. This is a complete waste of money but of course we were fooled by the high ratings. We will not be returning to this restaurant as the quality of the food is not up to par.

I love me some oxtail and rice and peas so I was super excited to find this gem. ?The service is IMPECCABLE! Lucy and Zack were A1!!! The most pleasant experience I have ever had! ?Had a plate of oxtail, rice and peas and some cabbage. Got a complimentary pea soup that was robust, flavourful beyond measure. ? It was enjoyable - I would have loved to have seen more gravy on my oxtail and rice and peas though and a bit more spice.My friend got curry chicken roti and it was pretty tasty she conveyed. All in all, these are wonderful people who make great food and most definitely make their food with love. Pay them a visit!!!!

My first time in Toronto or Canada even. So I got to my hotel and searched for a restaurant and saw this interesting business title. So I was game. When I arrived the location was quiet but the proprietor was a very pleasant couple who greeted me with a smile that you could tell from behind the smiley face mask. The gentleman offered to show me everything they had to offer. I declined since the first thing on their menu was oxtails!!! Which seems to be their best seller. Of course they have all of the Jerk stuff and curry items. But my heart was set. OMGOSH it was the BOOM!!! Along with my rice and peas (red kidney beans) and cabbage!!! YUM YUM. Finally a meal worth its prices. I did happen to remember to get a pic of my entree but you are going to have to take my word on the TWO yes two desserts that I had. Between the pre dessert of the ginger cookie and my post dessert of the tropical cheesecake true salvation...
