This place is great. The food is always consistently great; very flavourful. The oxtail and jerk chicken are delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is so nice and friendly too. I'd highly recommend it.

Not worth it. Ackee and saltfish is allllright. Dumpling is not good. Like a store mixed dumpling. The portion is SO SMALLLLL!!!!!

I first was introduced to Val & Patsy's when they were at Pickering Flea Market. Was there every Sunday and on the way out stopped and grabbed my food. When flea market closed figured everything shut down so looked at different places. Some were so so others just ok, As I was driving I guess over a year ago on Monarch Avenue in Ajax saw a sign posted on the boulevard. When I walked in to my surprise saw Patsy. I was so glad as there are no places that I searched for held a candle to this place. Val and Patsy's don't know how do but have a unique flavor that my taste buds can't get enough. Been a loyal customer since that day found and if any of you check out not only will understand my review but bet you also will find your nook in the corner for Island Food.

I'm not even finished eating and I had to stop to leave a 5 star review. If I could give 10 stars I would. The food is so delicious that it sent me to heaven, and the staff are so friendly. I've had a taste of the jerk chicken, oxtail, and patty and each one was perfect. Anyone passing by this neighborhood should give this spot a try, and anyone living around here ought to be regulars.
Lovely food made by lovely people, have been here a handful of times and never once was I left disappointed.Jerk chicken was juicy and leaves you wanting for more, oxtail has great tenderness and with the coleslaw, leaves a wonderful taste.One of the best restaurants in Ajax, hands down.

I found this spot by accident as I was dropping my wife somewhere. I went in to check it out, the place was clean and nice, very friendly and easy going ladies. The food was fantastic and the the prices very good, I have already been back a few time.

3.5 I'd say but not quite a 4 for me to br fairOrdered chicken roti and a patty, the only issue is the amount of bones and potatoes I got1 out of 6 or so bites I tool I got bones, and I put aside about half the potatoes in my one picture here, so it had twice that amount approx of potatoes just in 1 chicken rotiFlavour was good, above the norm of other places, and the patty was good too.
