Westney's Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in town. I took my wife and daughter there, we ordered a burger meal it was very juicy and it was homemade, we also ordered a poutine which was very pleasant and we ordered pasta which was very creamy and delicious. The place is very neat amd it looks lovely when you walk in. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to eat in AjaxVegetarian options: They had many veggie optionsKid-friendliness: The waiters were very nice to my daughter
The sign says "All day breakfast" $5.99. So we were rushing and did not read the (very) fine print. We told the server (server 200) that we wanted the "all-day breakfast" as the sign the sign says. When the bill came, it was $33+! We were shocked and then asked why. The server was rude and made all sorts of excuses, never once acknowledging that she did not tell us the $5.99 breakfast finishes at 10, but let us order knowing full well we were mistaken about the pricing. A good server helps her customer make an informed choice. On top of this, the food was aweful: eggs overcooked, bread stale, fries refried, etc. I wouldn't eat here again

We visited Westney's for the first time on a Monday afternoon. This place is really close to my house and I had high hopes, but honestly, I was quite disappointed. This seems like one of those places that Gordon Ramsay needs to "save." The server who greeted us seemed miserable and was surprised that we wanted to sit outside on a glorious summer day. She brought us menu, took our order, and brought our food. There was no chatting, recommendations, small talk - just the bare minimum service-wise. (There was no language barrier in case that's what you're thinking). We received our food in a timely manner- we ordered drinks and an appetizer to share. The appetizer came with sweet potato fries, veggie sticks, 3 chicken fingers, and "chippies" (chips) with a side of ranch and chipotle mayo. The sweet potato fries and chippies were really, really fried. It seemed like they had been sitting in the kitchen and just fried up again to be heated up. The chicken fingers with spicy Thai sauce had just had the sauce dumped on top of them rather than having them mixed in a bowl prior to plopping them on the plate. Pros: the drinks were fine, beer was bubbly, and it is very affordable. I don't think I'd go back other than for a drink if I'm looking for a patio
