I tried the baked goods today (scones and butter tarts) at the International Woman's Day Market and they were amazing. From the display to the variety to the very pleasant customer service and then to the taste. I would definitely recommend here for any event, get together or just a treat for yourself and family. You will not regret it. Plus they are local!
Awesome bakery! Love their sausage rolls, pork pies, butter tarts and cake pops!
Best bakery EVER! Thanks for the delicious and beautiful cupcakes❤️💕
My husband said it was the best sausage roll he has ever had. We both loved the sourdough bread. Amazing!!
We ordered four items yesterday-Nanaimo bar, blueberry lemon scone, cinnamon bun, and their new Aberdeen buttery. Everything was excellent! One of us does not usually like Nanaimo bars but really enjoyed this one.The two staff who served us were down to earth and a pleasure to interact with ????charming bakery inside. We will back and will be trying more items next time, including those humongous generously filled butter tarts. Thanks for the yummy treats
A new discovery offering amazing lineup of treats and tastes right off the platters. Plan ahead and order for those special occasions and you won't be disappointed.
The butter tarts are out of this world. Even raisin haters will love the raisin version. A must try when in Alliston.
Very pleased with the friendly staff i also bought cinnamon rolls...they were very fresh and delicious, will for sure be going back for more
Bought some scones while in town, always great to find bakeries while camping summer 2021. Back summer 2022, bought more scones and tried the Cranberry Cheesecake Blondie. Wow a delicious treat. The cheesecake iccing was bang on not too rich and everthing complimented together well. Grabbing another one tomorrow hopefully and try one of their award winning buttertarts
Best pastries, cookies, and buttercups in town. Maybe best in Canada. Possibly, the world.

I'm very picky about my buttertarts and these are PERFECT. The pastry is flaky and crisp. The filling isn't gelatinous but it's also not liquid. It's smooth and thick and thin and sweet in the perfect way. The flavour is just...yes. And if you go the pecan route (which you always should) you get a fantastically perfect crunch with each bite. These buttertarts are phenomenal. Neither my mother's, my grandmother's nor even my own recipe can compare. And if you're not a buttertart kind of person (which you will be after one of these) then they have all sorts of other delicious baked goods! The malt bread is wow. The macarons are exactly how a macaron should be. The nanaimo bars, the oatmeal cookies, the bagels, the empinadas, the pies???????? But...the BUTTERTARTS!
Wow! For me the real secret to a great butter tart is the pastry, and Carriage House tastes like homemade…buttery, flaky perfection. We also had empanadas (savoury sweet potato deliciousness ) and sausage roll with same? pastry. Lemon tart was just tart enough with a tender short crust. Sour dough at a day old had lovely tang and crumb, so we can’t wait to try again on day we buy it! 100% from both of us!!!!
Just ordered a cake for my son's birthday party. I showed them a picture of a cake for reference and wow did they nail it! The taste of the cake was absolutely amazing! It was such a hit at the party. For any future cake needs I will for sure be coming back here. 10/10
Such a welcoming experience in this quaint bakery. Pecan and butter tarts are delicious.
Have been searching for a great little bakery for cookies. I found that plus brownies cake biscotti savory pies and tarts etc. This lovely bakery in the heart of Alliston is the best! Great customer service and amazing quality and skill in their baking. My go to for Simcoe!
