I don’t usually write negative reviews, but my experiences at the Alliston Starbucks have been consistently disappointing. This is the only Starbucks in the area, so I have to go here when visiting my grandparents. Compared to locations in Toronto, Vaughan, or Waterloo, this store has the worst service I’ve encountered.
Almost every employee I’ve interacted with seems to have an attitude, and I’m not sure how this is being managed. Every drink I’ve received has had something wrong, either it’s not filled to the top, it’s too sweet, or it’s missing the correct sweetener.
One experience in particular highlights the issue. I placed an order via the mobile app, which said my drive-thru pick-up time was 8:36 AM. I arrived exactly at 8:36 AM, and the barista over the speaker told me I had just placed the order. When I explained that the app had given me that pick-up time, she said the app isn’t always accurate and I should add 2–3 minutes. I tried to tell her this is feedback she should provide to her management, but instead there was back and forth with attitude, no greeting, and she left me hanging at the speaker. I had to drive up to the window to get my drink, which was handed to me without a “hello” or “have a good day.” It was, without exaggeration, the worst drive thru experience I’ve ever had.
I truly hope the staff here receive proper customer service training. Both my mom and grandma have shared similar experiences. This location has potential, but the consistently poor service makes it frustrating. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and addresses these issues.

My experience at this starbucks location wasn’t great my drink was completely filled with foam and the girl at the counter explained to me that when you don’t want ice in your drink it will be filled with foam, i don’t agree with this because i am still paying full price and i don’t order ice in my drink from this location anymore because every time i’ve said light ice it is full of ice. These drinks are expensive as it is i like to get what i pay for. Here’s a photo from the last time i ordered here and said light ice. unacceptable!

Very disappointed with Starbucks. My wife wanted to go get a London fog so I decided to get a coffee . My coffee I received was warm at best and one thing I hate is lukewarm coffee. So I told and showed them how warm it was by drinking it fast like a glass of water . They gave me a 2nd one and it was the same thing. Starbucks needs to get their act together. You sell coffee and that's the life blood of your business so why would you sell lukewarm coffee at an exorbitant price ? My visits to Starbucks are becoming very rare because they lack consistency.

Having spent thousands of dollars at Starbucks over the years, I was very taken aback by how rude and dismissive the drive-through barista was at your location last night. I went through the drive-through with my daughters to get a chai drink however, this location was out of Chai. I mentioned that I was going to buy a chai drink, but instead asked for water. The drive-through barista told me that I had to pay for something if I wanted free water. I explained I was going to order a chai drink but as it was unavailable, there was nothing else I wanted. It was explained to me again that I had to buy a drink to get a glass of water. I have been to Starbucks locations all over the world, and this is the first and only time in 20+ years that I have been refused a glass of water. I will never return to the Starbucks location. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Very good and spacious. Staffs are kind. The washrooms are clean. Nice patio. One thing, It takes very long to pick up your pre ordered bakery items and/or orders were often misplaced at a wrong spot. I was not in rush everytime I visited which was not an issue.

the baristas were rude, got my order wrong twice and wouldnt give me a corrected order, I had to pay for it 😐 do NOT go here

The drinks we ordered were great, but the fact that the credit machine asked for a tip in the drive-thru is beyond greedy and unprofessional. Tipping culture is predatory on consumers as it is, and asking for a tip when you already charge an arm and a leg for basic coffee drinks is crazy. What would the tip even be for? Opening the window and handing a drink? I think the 7-dollar-a-drink price point already covers that.
On May 12, 2025 between 9:30-9:40 i came to this starbucks to get a Venti Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade blended without inclusion on my spare during school and one of the Baristas from this store was super rude after i went back up to the counter to say my drink was made wrong and had inclusions in it and if it’s possible i asked for it to be remade and she proceeded to say “Sure, Whatever” She then took the drink out of my hand and dumped it out which is against store policy to take back a drink someone has already started drinking. After it was remade she called my name and slammed the drink back down and said “Here” and walked away. I come to this Starbucks very often and am so disappointed in this service i received.
Workers are always so kind! Drink making skills are definitely great!
This is a Second time that I have got a cup of pumpkin spice latte when I got home it’s almost halfway and we pay for a full cup I don’t understand why they are not filling it to the top 🙄in Alliston
