I had the daily special which was a ham and Swiss melt. It was a real piece of ham, not deli sliced.. That was a nice treat, although I'd eat with deli ham. Coleslaw was delicious.
My friend had the burger and really enjoyed that.

I called to see if my celiac daughter could eat here but unfortunately the answer was no. Although they have gluten free options including bread, they will not make efforts to avoid cross contamination eg use a clean pan instead of the flat top grill. Disappointing as many restaurants are now willing to take some extra steps to be celiac friendly.

We were two seniors, the person who seated us rather than clear a more accessible booth for us, (it wasn't that busy) we were tucked away in a corner, smaller booth that wasn't very accessible for us. Our waitress was nice.

My first visit to Wimpys in Alliston definitely ensured another visit. Service was friendly and timely. My coffee cup was never empty. The home fries are real potatoes and not deep fried cubes and we're excellent. The peameal was also excellent and not a couple thin strips like you get at a lot of places. I hope every subsequent visit is as pleasant as this one.
