I bought a pecan pie, but when I opened it at home, I realized it was too burnt. Since the next day was Thanksgiving, I couldn’t go back to exchange it. It probably would have been delicious if the burnt flavor hadn’t been so strong. I really hope to try a properly made pecan pie.

A cute, cozy little spot in the heart of Ancaster Village. It has rustic, warm, home style interiors and I especially love the nook by the window overlooking the main street. They keep Kusmi teas which are very high quality and their baked goods are a must try!

I dropped in this morning for breakfast while I waited for my car that was being serviced down the road, and what a treat. I ordered a personal size bacon/cheese quiche and coffee, that quiche was the best quiche I’ve ever had! The crust was perfectly flaky and the balance of cheese, egg and bacon was divine. A wonderful high protein start to my day. Thanks Caniche!
