Coach and Lantern felt so authentic and homey. The bangers and mash were delicious and comforting on a cold day. The staff were very friendly, our waitress even answered our questions about the place being supposedly haunted. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy meal.
We were there on wing night and had made a reservation. When we arrived we had to wait for a table to accommodate the 6 of us. We didn't have to wait long. Wings were excellent, hot ,crispy and came with veggies and dip - nice surprise as it was buy one get one. A fun evening in a very interesting building.

The beautiful old stone walls and beams were just what a great pub needs.
This pub also has great food.
We ordered, the pie of the day, that came with mashed potatoes and peas,my friend loved it. My sister ordered the Rueben sandwich, again she loved her meal. I had the Shepherd's pie. Outstanding!!
