Was in the area looking for a lunch spot and came across Galitos online.
Needless to say it was a great choice. The portions were generous for what you pay and very tasty. This is not your average homemade chicken. Cooked perfectly and seasoned with care. Would definitely recommend.

I wish I lived in the area so I could frequent this place more!! I was driving through and needed a quick bite. I called ahead and ordered a chicken wrap. It was ready when I arrived, and was being kept hot! The gentleman somehow knew I was the pickup order without me saying anything. He greeted me so cheerfully and professionally, and even added extra cucumbers because I had requested no tomatoes. What a guy!! The chicken was juicy and delicious, and the wrap held together as I scarfed it down haha! Highly recommend this establishment and hopefully I am around the area again in the future so I can try more food from Galito's. Thanks!!!

This place is fantastic! The portion sizes are generous, and the food is well worth the price. I love that they don’t use unnecessary sauces that overpower the flavors — everything tastes just right. The staff were very friendly and even checked in to see how we were enjoying our meal. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

Ordered through Uber with low expectations after a disgusting takeout order from Charred downtown.
Juiciest chicken skewers EVER, Smokey tasting delicious.
We got family dinner for 4 and added a couple extra sides.
Whole chicken was chopped and delicious. Sides ordered - roasted veggies, rice, coleslaw and omg the potatoes all 10/10.

Not to mention Our 5 year old daughter doesn’t eat any rice but white rice and this place smelled so good she tried it and refuses to eat white rice anymore. Just this rice. Absolutely delicious will be ordering regularly.

We ordered the family package for 4 and asked for the chicken to be very well done. Sometimes places assume “well done” is enough, but when a customer asks for very crispy, super roasted, or even blackened, it’s worth clarifying or showing the chicken before boxing it (as some other places do). When we got home, the chicken was cooked through—no concerns there—but not as crispy as we wanted, so I had to put it in the oven a bit longer.

Prices are good, and my kids really enjoyed the garlic sticks—they’re very big and long, which was a nice surprise. The chicken itself didn’t quite taste like the Portuguese-style we’re used to from Toronto or Cambridge. The Piri Piri sauce was flavorful but darker and spiced in a way that didn’t remind us of traditional Portuguese flavors. The rice also seemed different, almost like it had turmeric in it. The fries were good.

Overall, decent value with generous portions, but some flavor and preparation details weren’t quite what we expected.

Amazing restaurant!! The food is always fresh and tastes so great! I come here with my wife and my 15 month old and we love the food. The customer service is first class as well. Greg is always there when you need him. We come here every week and will keep coming here

Chicken was amazing had mild spice but still tons of flavour !!

Guy was super nice and you can tell he cares about making sure your meal is good!
