My first option to dine-in has always been Lone Star BUT Sunday.....We went there to celebrate Mother's Day for me and my mother. We got there and they sat us at the very end of the restaurant, we asked to be changed and one RUDE waitress (I wish I knew her name) said "I see what I can do" and came back with an attitude saying that it was the only spot available for us as per the manager, but what made me more angry is that 80% of the restaurant was completely empty and it stayed half empty when we left..Our lovely waitress try to move us but she got no luck and she was very apologetic and understood our frustration.Their reason for not moving us was because the restaurant had reservations and because I had stroller, they gave me the option to put my stroller on a corner where was next to the kitchen, very noisy and it could be a hazard....As I said I've been at Lone Star with a stroller many times where the restaurant has been almost completely full and I had no issues, I even suggest that they can switch me to a booth where nobody is seated and they can sit other people where I was but NO that was not an option..Overall I was very disappoited with the situation.. other then that My waitress was great and the food was tasty as usual but I didnt enjoy it much as I wasn't happy and it was super noisy from the kitchen. The manager also didn't come to us to apologize as other restaurants would of done and I think that was also RUDE from her/his end, because we were not happy at all.

Went out for a nice meal. To be brutally honest the chuck burger was a bit over cooked and the pickle was placed on top on the bun which I believe is a bit unusual. Besides that the fries were to die for. We had a very nice waitress, so five stars in that department. The atmosphere was interesting to say the least. It was very unique yet also very alive. One I could make would be to turn down the music as it was very hard to converse in conversation. Overall, I had an ok time at this establishment, would I recommend to a friend, absolutely.

Super friendly attentive service. Thank you Georgia!Food is fresh and delicious. My Sante Fe salad was perfect. Fajitas are great with a generous portion of toppings and the soft flour tortillas. And of course the complimentary chips and salsa!!

I wasn’t going to give a lone star to lone star. Beans were cold and seemed like they came straight from a can. The slaw was just terrible. I wish they had any sort of bite or flavour. Bland slaw without a dash of vinegar. Not impressed. The ribs were actually not bad. Cooked well and fell off the bone beautifully. The fries were absurdly salty. Although they had a good crisp and texture, the extreme amounts of salt coating them really ruined the meal. The Oreo cheesecake for dessert was pretty good though. Cool and unique atmosphere to distract you from the insane wait times. This dinner was around 3 hours long which was completely absurd.

Sadly we will not be returning to Lonestar. We waited an hour for our food and when it came one order was incorrect and the other was very cold. When the food was delivered the server said “Sorry about the wait but we have a large party in the restaurant”. The restaurant was not full. There was a large party of about 10-12 people but if they can’t handle even a full restaurant then something is wrong. Or if there’s a large party taking up all of the servers’ and kitchens’ time then perhaps they should put up a sign telling customers there will be a wait because they have one table with more than 6 people. That was unacceptable. There’s music which is great but it was loud and competing with the hockey game that was on at the same time. We couldn’t hear each other talk. Will not be returning.
