Older guy working there whom I think may be one of the owners gave me a very uncomfortable experience. I usually come here for my bubblegum ice cream cones, but this guy was absolutely utterly rude for no reason. Not sure if he’s just having a bad day or just miserable. I’ve had a very brief, but also uncomfortable experience with him once before. Thought maybe he was just having a bad day at that time as well. It’s very common for customers to request more bubble gum pieces or pieces of any kind in the ice cream, but he made a big deal out of it telling me “ If I don’t like the way he scoops then I shouldn’t come back” like ??? I was being very kind and friendly but he treated me the opposite! It’s really not a difficult request..and I didn’t think he would get offended so easily. Another thing is, The girls he served before me paid with their cards & he told them he can only take cash next time, then again told me when I paid With my card that I need to bring cash next time, I even responded by telling him he should have a ‘cash only’ sign then, Because nowhere does it say anything at all about how they take payments. not sure what this guy’s problem is, but I probably won’t be coming back Solely due to his rude and disrespectful attitude

I went to this ice cream shop over the long weekend because i saw people gathered there and i was not disappointed! Small shop ran by a family, a lot of places to sit picnic tables and a patio and they sell Kawartha ice cream!
