I visited Trails Cafe on March 7/26. It is a bright, welcoming environment with good food, various coffees and teas. On the walls at the back of the building are large maps; one of local hiking trails and one of bicycle trails. Much thought and energy went into creating this welcoming environment. I was preparing to leave when I decided to check out the downstairs area. Had to get another cappuccino.

It was nice environment, only the sandwiches are bit overpriced.. $15 for a sandwich.. nice service though.
Truly an incredible place. The decor, the intention, the food, the celebration of hiking and queerness, this is my favourite cafe ever. I felt so safe, welcome and at home here. This is truly a gem.

I just had a coffee this time but I will make sure to go there hungry next time! Everything looked amazing… Including their grilled cheese, which I'm assuming uses cheese from Ancaster Cheese and Fine Foods so it's gotta be amazing! It's a nice warm, comfy, cosy welcoming atmosphere. You order your coffee and then sit down and they bring it to you in an actual cup. I love the cups as well. And I got a cute little design on my latte, which was delicious!

As another individual reported, I waited about 20 to 25 minutes for a take out coffee when it didn't appear to be that busy. It would be helpful to have a larger work space for the staff who are also trying to prepare food as well as drinks. Coffee is good and muffin was as well.
