I like this place, steaks are always good. It's great for a mid range sports bar, prices are very fair & good portion sizes. Servers here are friendly & efficient 😉
Note : Beer glasses could use a good hand scrub periodically or use better cleaning solution, my beer glass was really cloudy with residue on 2 occasions. But other than that...😊👍

Writing this review waiting for my bill.
I waited 20 minutes to get a menu, an hour for my food, I got a bacon cheeseburger and when I eventually got it the burger was hard as a rock and the patty was overcooked and burnt on the edges. I then had to wait another 30 minutes for the bill. I will never come back again the food and service was terrible

We walked in and had to wait but I think they forgot about us. We were finally seated and the waitress rushed over, got our drink orders and disappeared. We were in a bit of a hurry. She left before I could give our orders and made it back with our drinks about 30 seconds before we walked out. We got our food pretty quickly but it's now sub par. Gravy was more like au jus. Can't believe I paid extra for a single pickle. I could see paying $1 for 5 or 6 but not one that was barely noticeable. There were napkins around the cutlery but none anywhere else. It definitely wasn't enjoyable at all. I don't know what happened, it used to be our favourite spot when we lived in the area. I will not return.

We had dinner at Chuck's on a Saturday night and had the absolute best service anyone can ask for. Paige was not only professional but was fun and whimsical! We never felt neglected and got our food in great time. I know that the staff there are all great but I especially enjoyed our time with Paige! (She deserves a raise!)

So marks r all over n y? Stopped to grab 2 rib specials. Service -1 as a new tender at bar was yapping with guy beside about school. She asked my order l said my food n drink. 7 minutes later turns n asks what will your order be. I s a I’d again, she went to till rang order in. Waiting waiting she comes back to bud beside me. Talking again n no drink still. I asked again was ignored another 5 minutes.
My beer came to me 30 seconds before takeout food came out. Get home but noticed prices went up a lot at chuck’s. See bill n they r still charging a 3% harmonized tax. Which they say is to keep costs down. So then l noticed one order was charged extra $1.99 + .13% + 0.03%. That was because they put a small scoop of mashed potatoes in. (See pic) that was over $2 extra. Plus no veg. Second rib was a full rib but got a half paid for a full. It had no fries n wet soggy corn. Then bill comes n bartender has a 18% tip on for the ready. Lmfao It’s over everyone not worth it Town has been reinvested into a no service no smile no English smaller portions more money less quality A joke been same at all retail fast food outlets in Angus. Sad

Just stopped for lunch on this rainy Tuesday. Ordered the calamari as an app. I am pretty picky about my calamari. This one was done to perfection. Very pleased. Our food was quite good. Had the chicken parm. Hubby had the steak. What I really came here to give a review for was our server Dylan. How refreshing is this guy. Seriously Dylans demeanor and friendliness is a breath of fresh air. We need more Dylans in the world. Two thumbs up to you.

Service is great, food great. Curious as to extra charges however… Menu states 4.99 for mixed drinks, however malibu and coke charged at 8 bucks a pop. Some extra fee customers unaware of (Open liquor what the receipt stated) ??

I was disappointed in my recent visit to Chuck’s in Angus. My daughter upgraded her NY steak dinner with an order of mashed potatoes. She took one bit of her potatoes and complained that they tasted like instant. She asked the Server if she could return the mashed for a baked potato, which she did. However, I was surprised when we got the check that we were charged for both potatoes. Talk about getting “nickel and dimed”.
