My family and I came here spending the day at a nearby farm. We were starving and had my two young children with me. When we came in, Mona immediately welcomed us with a personal and dedicated experience. No menu was on the wall to look at, but she walked us through all the food available and explained in detail how it was prepared and the flavouring. She was beyond accommodating, even bringing out a lower table for my toddlers to sit at more comfortably to eat. On top of the insanely amazing experience, the food is phenomenal. Everything made to order, amazingly seasoned, though could be spicier. But I think cause it's up in Angus the spice has been pulled back.
Cannot recommend enough. I will definitely go back when I can!

Hands down best Caribbean in the province. I was in the area with family on a trip and I'll be making excuses to find my way here again - an hour's drive from home. I had the life-giving oxtail -- you must try it -- and all the sides: coleslaw, pasta salad and potato salad. Each side was subtly spiced and a little sweet, but each was unique.
Most importantly, there's homemade juice -- every flavour phenomenal. I got one of each.
My family also had the jerk chicken, and jerked pork. All fantastic! You can't go wrong, whatever you decide. And if you get too full to try it all, you'll find your way back to try the rest, guaranteed.

I happened upon this restaurant on my way to Wasaga beach and was craving some protein. I ordered the curry chicken roti, oxtail and rice and peas, and jerk chicken. I was blown away by the flavors and the quantity of everything I ordered. Even the potato and macaroni sides were incredible. We met Mona herself and you can see the passion behind what she does. To top it all off, she makes her own bottled juices which we took two of. Seriously I cannot say enough good things about the food and flavors. A must try if you’re in the area.

The food was delicious. I tried the 4 non-spicy meats (chicken curry, goat curry, oxtail and chicken bbq); not at all dry and very tasty. The potato salad is so good and the rice just right. I recommend this place for good Carribean food and I'm very critical when it comes to the flavor of the food. They have big portions.

Stopped in for lunch on the way through town. Met the owner and she was lovely. Gave me some samples to try first and an extra patty. Got the jerk chicken lunch and everything was fresh and delicious, made in house. The fresh juices were great too. Will definitely be back.
