Ice cream good older decorations just not my style but we'll done none the less
Showed up very last minute and owner cooked up a meal for us instead of turning us away (didn’t realize the closing time, which was my fault). Very friendly and the food and atmosphere were good. Need to go back here and try different dishes.

My go to place for ice cream and sweets in the Angus area! Great service, reasonable prices and always made with care. Worth stopping by.
If your looking for a refreshing treat outside of ice cream, try the Bing Soo. Truly worth the price!

My wife and I just moved to Angus in the summer and are exploring options in the area for when we don’t feel like making dinner. Sweet escape offers super friendly, courteous service in a super cosy atmosphere filled with different tables and cute little antique add Farmish charm. I had the Italian pasta with sausage and sauce with peppers and it was absolutely delicious. I could not put my fork down. My wife had the meatball risotto and it was delicious equally. Our first time here they even threw in a few slices of garlic bread for us to take home. What a wonderful stop on route or from your destination if you’re looking for something absolutely delicious to eat and when you’re done eating, I could even grab some ice cream or tasty treats. Also! I highly recommend sweet escape angus Ontario
Milkshake was great! I would skip on the risotto and meatballs, unless you want a bed of basmati rice, a layer of cheese and meatballs with tomato sauce. It is not risotto at all. I would come back and try the pasta, but $26 for a meal and milkshake seems very pricey in my opinion, but I get needing to keep up with the economy, just don’t know if I’d spend money here again especially since the first food experience wasn’t that great.

Amazing service and ice cream. I had 4 different flavors. I even had Moonmist and Coconut yummy. My daughter wants to make it a weekly trip now. Thankyou
Friendly service and a great selection of Kawartha Dairy ice cream.
Nice spot to stop and enjoy ice cream on a summer's day!Park right across the street to sit!
Ice cream & shakes were good. But a bit too pricey to make it worth revisiting.
So glad we found this charming place! It’s beautifully decorated. The owners are super sweet and there are tons of ice cream flavours. We had a fresh cookies and cream milkshake and a Tiramisu Bingsu which was absolutely fantastic. It’s quite large so it can be for two people for sure. There were so many layers and textures! Will definitely come back to try the Oreo Bingsu next, and maybe a new ice cream flavour.
