Showed up very last minute and owner cooked up a meal for us instead of turning us away (didn’t realize the closing time, which was my fault). Very friendly and the food and atmosphere were good. Need to go back here and try different dishes.

My go to place for ice cream and sweets in the Angus area! Great service, reasonable prices and always made with care. Worth stopping by.

My wife and I just moved to Angus in the summer and are exploring options in the area for when we don’t feel like making dinner. Sweet escape offers super friendly, courteous service in a super cosy atmosphere filled with different tables and cute little antique add Farmish charm. I had the Italian pasta with sausage and sauce with peppers and it was absolutely delicious. I could not put my fork down. My wife had the meatball risotto and it was delicious equally.
