Our unit recently held our Festival Dinner at CFB Borden, and Swiss Chalet in Angus went above and beyond in every possible way. They provided full catering for hundreds of people — and somehow made every single meal feel like it was prepared with individual care and attention.
The food was absolutely divine. Everything was cooked perfectly, beautifully seasoned, and served hot and fresh. They didn’t miss a single detail. From the quality of the entrees to the thoughtful inclusion of absolutely everything we could possibly need, Swiss Chalet truly delivered a flawless experience.
What impressed us just as much was their professionalism and teamwork. Despite the massive scale of our order, they had every meal individually boxed and ready to go on time — with zero stress on our end. Their staff was an absolute delight to work with: friendly, organized, and incredibly accommodating.
We also want to highlight how remarkable it is that they managed to cater such a large, demanding event while still running their regular service throughout the day. It’s clear their team put in an enormous amount of effort — it honestly felt like they must have worked around the clock to make this happen.
Because of their outstanding service, our unit would most likely love to do future business with them. They truly made our event special, and they deserve all the recognition for their incredible hard work.

Food undercooked and long wait timea, overall negative experience again. Wish I had read these reviews before going. Clearly this restaurant has gone down hill with all the 1 star reviews. Had to re cook food at home to even salvage what we could.

To the very best customer service I've seen in a while........ exemplary outstanding customer service she's always got a smile and is extraordinarily kind-hearted beautiful woman, her name is Corinne and she's a very lovely lady who has served me on numerous occasions with festive dinners. She's by far the most genuinely amazing woman in customer service I've met and her work is outstanding, she honestly makes you feel as welcome as family I hope that Swiss Chalet truly appreciates her dedicated hard work because as a customer i truly value and appreciate Corinne's admirable work. Its always a pleasure to be treated respectfully and especially with a genuine kindness, in a small town its always fantastic to be greeted as a friend even if you're a stranger, She's got my 5 stars for excellence 🌟 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Order christmas family special ordered online when to store for pick up 5 mins pass time given was told it wasn't ready yet be five minutes. So after 20mins more waiting at the counter with a few others also waiting for orders I get mine. Brought home 5min drive, to find chicken under cooked, stiff, squeaky meat, skin still white wet cold raw rubber. And No dressing. Could not take the chance to feed my kids this had to throw out. So we paid $65 for small 4 poutine which came out of box as a one piece soild cold chunk on the fork. We could eat it like a popsicle. Swiss chalet is a favorite, just in Angus it is not an option for us anymore.

Ordered a family pack with an appetizer. Raw fries, smooshed onion rings (literally looks like someone stepped on the box), unedible dark meat (dry is an understatement) plus they forgot the chalet sauce and sauce for the apetizer. They offered a replacement dinner but when I arrived at the store it was for a 1/4 chicken meal. You royally screw up a family pack and you offer a 1/4 chicken meal in it's place. We will not return to this location.

I've always enjoyed Swiss Chalet and will always go back because I love the taste of the food even though things are changing a little bit in terms of food quantity service and sometimes the chicken comes a little uncooked to the table, but each time I complain I always been provided with the different portion so I shouldn't even mention this but yes they are good place to eat and still reasonable for your pocket.

Every time we go to drive thru its a long wait for food. Its happened before and today was the worst. Got there at 5:37 to get 3 dinners. Was told when we paid it would be about 8 - 10 min wait. We said OK and waited out front. After 30 min someone came out and said another 8 min wait. About 43 min went in to see what the hold up was. If no chicken why don't they tell you this when your paying. If we knew it was a 45 min wait we would have gone elsewhere. We definitely will go elsewhere in the future as your always out of chicken. Ridiculous at that time of day to have no chicken. Lying by saying 8 - 10 minutes is not acceptable. As we waited we saw others walk in and leave. Nobody wants to wait. Very Dissatisfied.

Excited for a “two can dine for $19.99” we are not a fan of dark, agree to pay more for white meat. We were told “ we have no white meat “. I’m not joking, I thought we were visiting a popular restaurant on a Friday night that might anticipate a busy Friday service. Just left in disbelief

We placed an online order, which they confirmed and accepted payment for. Upon delivery, half of our order was missing, with the receipt saying it wasn't in stock. We were never contacted about this or possible substitutions, and even after driving to the restaurant ourselves they refused to refund the money for our missing items.
