How sad... we chose this evening to come to the truck stop with our kids for our anniversary. We read reviews and were pleased with them. What we got was far from a welcome.
The 4 of us got to the counter and waited for a server to seat us. We asked for a booth as there was empty ones. The server was very rude to us and said to us they have 2 servers only and will need to speak to her boss to see if they will let us eat there? Really?!

We stop for a meal here whenever we go to Ottawa. Food is always more than we can eat so we take home enough for lunch the next day. On our most recent visit, we were served by Brittany who was very courteous and efficient. She checked several times that things were good.
Lately been passing through from Ottawa to Northern Ontario, every week. Always a good stop to refuel me and vehicle. Gas prices are usually lower than surrounding pumps. Never used the scales here, but they are available.
Today, stopped for dinner. Laura was very helpful. I hadn't had bread pudding for over 30 years. it was great. Picked up baked goods for tomorrow's drive to Northern Ontario. Will stop for food and gas of course. So made a special order for the bakery.
