It's alright. Wish they had domestic on tap or even in bottles. Everywhere is like that now though so I can't really fault them for it. Just tired of being forced to drink the local slop at bars. I wish ,pre bars would start serving domestic again, but I guess they are following the trend.

Went for lunch here with two of my girlfriends on Monday while we were out for a motorcycle ride. We ordered the jerk nachos, fish tacos, calamari and the spinach power salad. The food was FANTASTIC. We all loved our meals! The salad was the most filling and delicious salad I have ever had. I also had the white sangria and it was fabulous! Do not pass up am opportunity to meet here. We had never been and are not from Arnprior but we will definitely be back!

Stopped in at Lumbertown Ale House today. We just happen to be staying in the area as we are from Oshawa. What a pleasant surprise. Our server Jayde was very professional and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable about all of the beers they have there. She recommended a nitro infused English Ale that was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately you cannot buy this beer to go here as it is infused with nitrogen in the draught process. Food was also outstanding. I would highly recommend you visit here. You will not be disappointed. Again thanks to Jayde for her outstanding service. The other server whom I did not get her name was awesome as well. We will be back!!! CHEERS!!!

I’m not normally one for writing reviews but something had to be said about this experience at Lumbertown Ale House. My boyfriend and I dined there on Monday, August 25th at 8:00pm. We ordered two waters as we don’t drink, an app which was Zuchini sticks. I ordered a chicken club and my partner ordered the chicken parm. About 25-30 minutes went by and we noticed no app arriving. The server finally brought over our mains, no app, to our surprise. My partner said we can just cancel the zucchini stick app we ordered and she replied “oh the kitchen must have missed it”. My partner and I are both servers with years of experience. It was sad to see the server throw the kitchen under the bus, when in reality she should have noticed us sitting there for quite sometime with no appetizer. It was clear, she didn’t put the order in, and blamed the kitchen. We proceeded to eat our mains, didn’t get a quality check once, and never got a water refill. I’m not sure if she was frustrated because we are non drinkers, but really disappointed in the service, the restaurant was not busy when we were in. The other server seemed to keep busy as she picked up our plates, while our original server was no where to be found. We asked for a to go box and our bill, she placed the debit machine and bill on the table without a word and took off. You’d think maybe there would be an apology for missing the appetizer? We got up and my partner said “thank you!” and we got ignored. Completely bizarre service, this restaurant puts off a vibe that you would get good service considering the price of menu items but that was not the case tonight. We will not be returning, super disappointed in the service, considering this was a restaurant we’ve enjoyed in the past.
