PJ's Restaurant Dining Lounge

My server was very friendly but you can tell that the staff doesn't work together to support eachother. The side salad was covered in some sort of creamy dressing, not on the side, but not tossed either, it was not appealing. The fish and chips were very good. Unfortunately, I most likely will not be back though, because they don't have even one vegetarian dish on the menu.

The water was so bad it taste’s like tap water. The service was horrible it took them 50min for our food. The waiter was pushing my kids around and farting on our food.

Travelling through Saturday Sept 7 2024. Stopped for lunch. Soup and sandwich. Soup was "homemade" veg macaroni. No expert but tasted canned and bland. basically no taste at all. BLT sandwich, Really thick Tomato, and very little bacon. Second person had hot turkey sandwich on a hamburger bun?? with "homemade" gravy. Well never had a hot turkey sandwich with beef brown gravy, that was an experience to say the least. Turkey was good but either powdered or canned brown gravy, not homemade by a log shot. $4.00 for "bottomless" pop, but never saw the server after she dropped the food so was not able to get a refill. Had to ask hostess for the cheque since server was never seen again Spent $50.00 on a lunch that was far from home made and far from worth it.

We stopped in at PJ’s Restaurant in Arnprior on our way to a long weekend getaway. Had seen the highway sign many times when travelling Hwy 417, but never at a meal time. On impulse, we stopped in for breakfast this time and so glad we did. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, clean, and well maintained. Our waitress, Maria, I think, was friendly, efficient, and helpful, without being obtrusive. Our food was delivered in an appropriate length of time and was delicious. My husband is VERY particular about breakfast. Eggs were exactly as requested, sausage was very flavourful and fried potatoes were well cooked and the plate was hot. Annnd, the price was reasonable!!! Really, could not ask for more! We will be driving to Arnprior again soon, not just passing through, but specifically to go to PJ’s! I highly recommend you give it a try.

We had a rather large group for lunch, 11 people, and we were able to really enjoy ourselves. Both the food and service were excellent. I would not have changed anything. I highly recommend this place for family get-togethers of all ages. We will be back.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Love the an old school dinning.
We ordered a Club sandwich and burger steak were good.
Only down side was food severed a little slow, but looking forward to go back :)
