Finally stopped in to give it a try after hearing alot about it, was very much let down. My wife and I ordered burgers they were mushy and looked to be cooked in the microwave. The coffee was horrible.

Good food, slow service. They are doing the best they can. Get the Arthur Pizza. Feeds 4 adults no problem and you can’t beat the price.

What a shame. Google reviews says this is rated 4 stars. I should have dug in a bit deeper before taking a chance at Erni’s.
4 guys. 4 coffees. All 4 were lukewarm. Multiple refills all at the same temperature. -1 star.
3 French onion soups. Atomic hot and burnt on top. The crucible bowl might have glowed if the lights were turned down. A good sign, right? French onion soup is supposed to be the hottest meal on Earth . Nope. Dig in and the soup was literally cool. Not warm. Cool. Like fruit salad cool. After mixing it all up, the whole thing was lukewarm at best. Flavour was unique. Couldn’t quite place it. Burping it up 1/2 an hour later. -1 star.
Meals for the other three guys comes.
One breakfast order with over-medium-at-best eggs when over easy was ordered. Burnt pancakes as a side dish. -1 star.
One hot beef sandwich with fries. Lukewarm. Meh. -1/2 star.
One Reuben sandwich. Two slices of meat and 3/4 of an inch of sauerkraut. Ugh. -1 star.
Where’s my meal?!?
Well, everyone finishes and my hot beef comes out. I guess they can only microwave so much stuff at one time?!? Lukewarm as well. Double ugh. -1/2 star.
Comes time to pay. We’re already at a 1 star rating at this point. Maybe, just maybe, my meal will be free?!? Nope.
I advised the server that the food was tasty but it all needed to be hotter. She questioned my use of the word “all”. I said, yeah, all of it. I suggested that maybe the late hot beef should be free. She said no. -1 star.
Well over $100 for an extremely underwhelming experience. We won’t return.
It’s too bad because I really like to give small ma and pa shops the benefit of the doubt and try them over the chains. This was a mistake at Ernie’s.
You know the rules. Everyone starts with 5 stars. You can’t earn stars unless you do something extremely well. You can only lose stars.
Well, Erni’s, you can’t get any lower on the ranking scale. It’s a 1 star review for you. I don’t know. Maybe the pizza would be better?!? I won’t be back to find out.
P.S. check out the men’s room. It has to be close to 90 degrees in there. Loved it! But, why so hot???
Parking: Some parking in front. Lots of parking in the back.
Kid-friendliness: There was a kids menu section.
Wheelchair accessibility: I think there was a ramp at the side. Definitely not directly in front of the front door.

Food is decent but the service is the definition of slow, we were the only people in the restaurant and it took over an hour for our order where was significantly simple.
Great food and lots of it, good place to eat

Went to the Belwood location and the food was good but the level of incompetence in one building is crazy. Called ahead to place an order and she said it would be 20 mins, nope it was 1 HOUR cause I guarantee you they didn’t start making it till we got there so like what’s the point of calling ahead. Then they told us they didn’t have hotdogs even though I ordered a hotdog combo over the phone but whatever things happen. I had ordered a clubhouse sandwich with a side of onion rings, which I confirmed 3 times over the phone cause the first time she read the order back she said a side of diced onions and when I corrected it she said ok but I had a bad feeling about it. We got the order and you guessed it diced onions. And the chicken on the clubhouse sandwich was literally GREEN. I’m not exaggerating, Green. The rest of the food that was right was actually really good but it’s not worth the headache of dealing with the staff here.

I was excited to find a home style restaurant near my new home that serves Reuben sandwiches, but that instantly became disappointment when I got the thinnest sandwich I’ve ever seen (photo added). Reubens are supposed to be stacked much thicker with meat. Three measly slices on my sandwich. And the meat was dry. My first visit here will be my last since the personality-less girl at the counter just stared at me without any verbal response when I mentioned my disappointment. The place did smell funny too. What a bummer.

I only had one issue with this restaurant, and it wasn't even their fault. Walking up to the building, and inside, I liked the environment. There was one server there, she was very friendly and pleasant to interact with. The menu had lots to choose from, and most of it sounded appetizing! The food we ordered was simple, but tasted good, it seemed like we had to wait a while, but I imagine the wait would've seemed like less if we didn't take the kids. My actual issue, the food is delivered by a robot, and of all the places I could've expected to have been served by one, this place would not have been my guess. Alas, I can't let that one thing sway how good my experience was. I might've preferred more human interactions but I think I will go back to this place. The kids enjoyed their food too, all in all, pretty good experience.

Terrible impression right when I walked in. Much like the Belwood restaurant…absolutely no costumer service skills whatsoever. No hello. No smile. No welcome. Nothing. So we asked if we are supposed to sit anywhere? Yes. Ok. Good to know. Thanks. While I was ordering he wasn’t even listening to me. He kept speaking over me. The meal I ordered came with bacon and they forgot the bacon and brought it later then charged me extra for it. My aunt ordered peameal bacon and one bite into it she knew it was off. Starting to spoil. I understand accidents happen but she didn’t eat it and told them and they still charged her for it!If I had to say anything positive it would be that the home fries were good.I will not be back here or to Belwood and would not recommend.
