This place has some good drinks and bakery options but I find it to be way overpriced especially when it comes to meal options. I ordered a grilled cheese and a roast beef sandwich. After a long wait, my grilled cheese ended up having a hair in it and it tasted plain. I think the only way I could justify paying $32.00 for my order of one drink, two sandwiches and a bakery item would have been if my items were well prepared but finding that hair was disappointing.

After driving passing through Arthur and grabbing the usual Tim’s, I decided to stop by Sterre for something different.
I’m so glad I did - the ambiance is so aesthetically pleasing and adds a special touch to this little town.
Baked goods are delicious ! They’re baked fresh by the manager themselves - how cool is that?
My favourite was the cranberry square (scone?) and the dirty chai was really nice! There’s a lot of nice gifts and goodies you can purchase here too. It’s a nice place to take a break, read, or do some work too!

In life A to B often takes the the priority. After too many trips to count, just passing through Arthur, I stopped at the cafe looking for a good cup of coffee from a local shop rather than my usual pit stop. I'm glad I did. The cafe was beautifully decorated with many gift ideas. The coffee and short bread cookie I had were fresh and delicious. The individual working when I was there was, great to talk to and I look forward to being back again. I highly recommend the Red Eye coffee, black.
