We love the Ashton Brewing Co.! Best restaurant for classic fish & chips, boxty, bangers and mash and delicious homemade chowder. Friendly staff and wonderful service. Amazing pints made on the premises, seasonal choices and great prices! A terrific traditional pub dining experience with no distracting screens, just a cozy fire, comfortable, generously sized hard wood chairs and a nice woodland view. Highly recommend!
Quaint feel of a British pub. Excellent food and variety of beer.
We held a rehearsal dinner for 30 people in the downstairs room and it was wonderful. The pub is very rustic and the food was delicious. Everyone commented on the large portions. Highly recommend this hidden gem!!
An amazing place that has excellent service, food is on point and their cider is delicious! Try the Sangria yum 🤤
Very cozy pub with almost home cooked great food. This is easily a great go to. The staff are kind and are attentive
Much appreciated. Thank you for the experience.
I doubt I will return. Salmon/salad/blueberries. Salmon extremely over cooked, blueberries frozen and thawed - definitely not fresh. salad was not a nice mixture and leaves were bitter. If one person had asked how it was I would have commented at the restaurant versus leaving a review. I can spent $30 elsewhere for better value. Atmosphere was lovely after they turned down the loud music - we were under a speaker.
Outstanding food, beer and service! Love this place so much!
Really enjoyed our meals, great atmosphere on the back screened in area. Awesome selection of beers, I would highly recommend this pub!
Great service, Great food, Great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back again soon!!
We recently visited The Ashton Pub with some out-of-province friends, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was very good, with generous portions and fair prices, great service, and they had a fantastic selection of ales that we all enjoyed. The atmosphere was also very unique, offering a cozy and charming vibe that added to the experience. Our friends were quite impressed with it all.
However, there was one major drawback that really impacted our visit: flies. We were inundated with them throughout the meal, and they were so persistent that they even landed in our food. We found ourselves picking them out as they were so persistent , which was pretty off-putting. It was a real shame because everything else about the pub was spot-on, but the fly issue definitely detracted from what could have been a perfect meal.
If not for the flies, I would have easily rated The Ashton Pub a 5, but unfortunately, I have to give it a 4 because of this issue. Hopefully, they can address it soon, (there must be commercial bait traps to use indoors?)as the place has great potential otherwise.

Amazing atmosphere and awesome food. Awesome service. It's a hidden gem
Very nice English style pub with lots of beautiful decorations. Warm place with a good varied menu and good microbrewery beers. I highly recommend!!!
Beer is good but all meals are over $22 and not good quality, definitely price gouging.
A friend and I stopped by the Ashton Pub after attending the local Fibrefest in Almonte. She had never been and we were not disappointed! The food and service is always amazing here, as is the on-site brewery. I did not take some home this time as we had just restocked a couple weeks earlier! Can’t wait to go back again!
One of my favorite places to eat. The food is outstanding!! Their apple crumble is the best I've ever eaten. Great place to meet up with family and friends. I highly recommend.
