We recently moved to Athens. We noticed JJ's always seemed busy so we decided to order a pizza and salad for takeout. I'm a bit of a pizza snob so I hesitated getting pizza but we did and I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza had alot of toppings and tasted good however, it really needed more sauce as it was dry and the dough wasn't cooked enough. We had to finish cooking it in our oven. Yesterday, I had breakfast at JJ’s and it was my first time having breakfast there. My server Tammy was kind, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable of the menu. She checked in with me at all the right moments, and my food was prepared exactly how I wanted it (I had scrambled eggs, bacon, and French toast). I would definitely go back there for breakfast again!
We had an excellent “linner “ yesterday afternoon with friends. We had never been before but have driven by for years. We shall return. Congratulations on having a well decorated, clean washrooms, friendly service facility with excellent food at great value. As long time cottagers on Charleston Lake it’s great to have a reliable restaurant like yours so local. Bravo!
