We had an enjoyable first-time experience at the Peacock Restaurant. The food was good, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

The staff is super super friendly and accommodating. The Chinese food is very delicious most of the time but it's so inconsistent. It seems to be different every time we get it and the amount sometimes there a lot of meat and shrimp and other times mostlyvegetables I could be wrong, butsometimes it seems like the chicken balls have been deep fried cooked twice? But it is still mostly really good. The vegetables in the dishes are always fresh and crispy and delicious.

The food was good and there was a small but interesting selection. We had lovely mains, dessert and some great greek wine. The absolute star is the amazing view across the rooftops of Athens to both the Acropolis museum and the Parthenon itself. A great place to eat some good food.

First time eating here and probably the last. We ordered dinner for 2, wonton soup and extra chicken balls. The soup was BLACK with way too much soy sauce, the wontons themselves were wrapped in the thickest, half cooked, pasta noodle not wonton noodles. Too salty to eat.The rice tasted like day old white ricehard and crunchy, assulted with again way to much soy sauce and some chicken, nothing else. Too salty to eatChicken balls were ok, chop suey was very bland. Spent over 70$ and ended up throwing most of it away.Maybe just a bad night but, we will not be going back.I appreciate your response, thank you. Intent is not to destroy small businesses, but it is also not fair to serve sub par food and waste your customer's hard earned money. Being busy is not an excuse

Great food at a great price! Chicken balls were incredible. The won ton soup was packed full of meat and wontons! Highly recommend this little gem in the village

Great location with beautiful evening views of the Acropolis. The food was delicious and our waiter was great. Try the shrimp pasta. It is amazing!

Our family decided to ditch cooking Thanksgiving dinner and went here instead. It was a great move. We got Dinner for 6. It was so fresh and delicious. This was a lot of food. There were plenty of leftovers (except the homemade egg rolls, because they were devoured instantly). This restaurant was a short drive to Athens from Brockville. The menu had quite a variety and the prices were extremely reasonable. Our family enjoyed the very quick and attentive service. We also loved the quaint, friendly atmosphere. We were very happy to choose this locally owned restaurant for our family meal.

service was very fast and super friendly. how ever the food I received was poor quality, really disappointing. egg rolls were very good. but chicken fried rice was outrageous . The flavour was very strange and was dark brown as brown could be and microwaved beyond repair. it's not often I leave food on my plate in a restaurant but I did at the peacock. I will go elsewhere for chines food that's for sure.

We ordered delivery and we were not impressed the beef and broccoli dish were both almost raw and very crunchy to eat with no flavour and the won ton soup was black and very salty. We won't be eating there again.

We stayed at the Hera Hotel pre and post tour for our Rick Steve's Greece adventure. The first night we went up to the rooftop restaurant (we made reservations) as we were a bit jet lagged. What a great choice. To see the Acropolis was a thrill, and the host was very helpful and friendly. Drinks were tasty and well made, and our fish (sea bass and salmon) was very good. We shared a yummy dessert, and practiced our Greek on the waiter. The prices were very fair for the excellent quality of the food. Had we had time, we would have dined there again, but our last night was a group dinner with our tour.

This small town Chinese food was very similar to food-court Chinese food. We did not try the pizza or western food items that were on the menu. We had 6 items, eggrolls, Cantonese chowmein, chicken fried rice, moogoo guy pan, sweet and sour chicken balls, and beef and broccoli. The eggrolls and chicken balls were okay. The homemade plum sauce was very good. The chowmein used buckwheat noodles(which I've never had in chowmein), and mixed vegi. The rice was very plain, there was chicken bits and soy sauce but little else. The Cantonese and moogoo were very similar flavour-wise. The beef and broccoil was okay but the beef needed to be velveted. Overall, the food was pretty plain, so kid friendly, but not very authentic Chinese. If you're looking for Westernize-Chinese you'll probably like the food. If you're looking for bokchoy, baby carrots, water chestnuts, or other Chinese vegi, you won't find it. Portions were generous.Parking: Lots of out-front parking on the main road.Kid-friendliness: Country music, space to move around, I'd say kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible.
