It's what you would hope for. The ice tea was a great mix of citrus, sweet and bitter. It tasted homemade. I had the breakfast. The sausages were wholesome. Everything was cooked how I had asked. I hope to come by again.

Food was great. This is in a small town so you can’t expect there to be a bunch of servers or cooks. Given the small town factor this restaurant was impressive. Family owned, had only a few people working in the back but delivered our food in a timely manner. Really good food. I recommend the poutine as a side for sure. The atmosphere was nice; the fish on the wall made for nice conversation.

We ordered an extra large pizza (it cost over $50 and was honestly terrible), which took about 35 minutes in an almost empty restaurant, not a deal breaker, however, while waiting we couldn't help but hear the several loud arguments going on in the kitchen between what I assume are the husband and wife operators. Quite awkward, and when paired with the general cigarette aroma in the place as patrons seem to light up directly outside the entrance and walk back in as they're exhaling their last puff, and the loud fishing show playing on TV that was just the main presenter groaning loudly for no real reason on repeat as he failed to catch anything the atmosphere wasn't exactly top notch. Service isn't going to get above two stars when the "cook" aggressively barks that your pizza is ready at you, and then you stand at the register for several minutes being ignored. It was the only place open in town when we were there so we had literally no other choice, if you do, go somewhere else, just buy some noodles from the servo as that is legitimately a better option and I'm not exaggerating or using hyperbole.
Get a waitress , a beautiful one that draws attention . Let her keep tips and give her a great wage then hire an understudy to take over . So you can retire and still be there to help. Amen ?

I didn't eat so much out there. But food there is not bad. Good coffee and cinnamon buns. The restaurant decorated with lots of stuffed fishes and it's interesting. The restaurant located in downtown of Atikokan and it's comfortable. Lots of tables and places. The service is not bad too.
Parking: There is a couple parking spots outside. But in the midday it's a little busy.
