I definitely had much better oysters and better food in general! Service and atmosphere was amazing and music was so much fun Friday night !! Very pricy !! I paid 45 dollars for the salad you see in picture !! So go for a good vibe a nice party atmosphere ..

$10 fee for empty dance floor

We went to aw shucks in Aurora for dinner, not knowing it was a country club with a $10 entrance fee per person. We paid $20 to get in, only to be told afterwards that the kitchen was closed. When I politely mentioned that this was not fair since we came specifically to eat, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and gave us attitude. We left immediately, feeling disappointed and unwelcome. Very poor customer service — I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent dining experience.

came here with marvin and rose to get a MASSIVE haircut in a barbershop that cost a QUARTER owned by ADRIAN which takes around 6-7 minutes to finish but dbgt came and killed rose 😂💔✌️🥀

We went to this bar around 1 AM as a group of 6 girls. They charged us $70 just to get in, even though the place was completely dead, we were literally the only girls there. A group of young, pretty girls too. We overheard the manager asking security if he “wanted to charge us,” which made it obvious they were just trying to take advantage of us for being out late.
Once inside, the bartenders were clearly drunk and even said to us, “Why did you even pay to get in at this time?” That pretty much summed up the vibe.
We stayed for maybe 5 minutes before deciding to leave. We kindly asked for a refund, considering the situation, but were refused. As we were walking out, the manager, an older lady, actually followed me outside, yelling “Hey lady!” in a really aggressive and uncalled-for tone. It was completely unprofessional and honestly kind of scary.
The whole experience was uncomfortable, shady, and felt like a total scam. Absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Our child’s baptism celebration at Aw, Shucks felt like pure magic — every detail was perfect, and we felt so cared for. Thank you to Jerry, the head chef for the phenomenal food and recommendations. It was fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and received rave reviews from our guests.The vibe was warm, inviting, and just the right mix of elegance and comfort, which made it feel so special for our family and friends.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. Huge thanks to Debbie, the incredible event manager, who made planning and organizing so easy. She was a pleasure to speak to, coordinate the day with, and ensured every detail was taken care of. Isabella, our head server was wonderful, and kept everything running seamlessly while ensuring to keep me informed. Ryan and Alex, our servers were so friendly, attentive, and professional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how well we were taken care of and how beautiful the space was.

If you’re looking for amazing food, a beautiful atmosphere, and a team that truly cares about making your event perfect, Aw, Shucks is the place!

A wonderful Bridal Shower held in honour of my daughter in July! Debbie and her team, Chloe, Natalia, Ryan and an amazing chef! They supported us throughout the entire planning process, helped with decorating and the menu was outstanding!

Our experience fell short of expectations.

Although the waitress delivered excellent service, the food was merely acceptable and did not meet the standards we anticipated.

Furthermore, the unprofessional behavior of the security staff was completely unacceptable. We felt disrespected and embarrassed by the treatment we/customers receive. This matter must be addressed immediately, as no one should endure what we experienced!!

The place has a lot of potential but unfortunately the music requires major improvement. Please note that they also charge $10 entrance to dance, but considering the music music quality - it's a waste of money.
