Went here for our friends birthday! Very busy after 10 pm, there was one bartender making drinks. The crowd was a mixture from 19 years old to 50 years old, maybe older. The cover charge after 10 pm is $10. Free parking is good. The dancing space was good. Music eehh. The dj kept playing the same song, and the speakers weren't clear. But overall, we had fun. Just won't go back because of the music selection. Need more dance music.

Nice restaurant located at the main intersection in Aurora with seatings indoors and patio. Restaurant offers wide assortment of food but specializes on seafood. Many interesting seafood entrees and very good pastas as well. Very friendly service and affordable prices.

I was there for a Birthday Party and one with my wife of approx 25+ people.
The servers were very friendly and accommodating, but I guess with a large group, sometimes orders fall through the cracks and requests can be forgotten, even when reminded.But they are so damned nice it's easy to let it go...we did get the extras eventually.
I ordered the Mussels and figuring they were a seafood establishment, would be on top of the game.
Worst mussels I've ever had, now this could be an anomaly in all fairness and I should go back to see if they get it right, but I've never had cold and raw mussels in a tepid-cool/warm sauce. Like someone steamed them earlier in the day anticipating a crowd for a Sat night, put them in the fridge and when serving, took them out, put a hot fresh off the stove-top sauce on them hoping that would finish off the cooking of the mussels.Ramsey would have had a fit.
I had them returned and they brought me my dish back eventually. The sauce was hotter, but still only warm, the mussels were warmer, a little more cooked but still raw. Overall not their best or proudest day for mussels. Aw Shucks....
Unfortunately too many Restaurants over-cook mussels. Under-cooked, you can still eat them as long as the sauce is bearable... Later I went to the Bar to order Drinks, and unfortunately the server again was not on her game as she lost track of the queue and didn't think that was her job to keep track.... Man has the profession taken a hit....This place has a lot of potential, as it turns into a music/DJ dance venue.. just needs to work out a few kinks....So, the jury is still out for me but it's worth a first time visit...you decide after that....

I had an amazing night at Aw, Shucks! in Aurora. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with great music that added to the vibe without overpowering the space. The margaritas were spot-on, and the brochettes were delicious – perfect combo! The crowd was friendly, making the experience even better. It’s a fantastic spot to unwind with good drinks, food, and company. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

We had reservations for a group of 20 people. They knew we were coming. Service was slow. They would not give us individual bills . We had to figure out the bill on our own. Needless to say the last few people were stuck with paying the remainder of the bill. We requested assistance from the acting manager who basically said it was our problem. We had the same group here a few years ago with no issue. What's the problem with service these days. Never coming back

Best place for a date night! My husband and I have been to Oh Shucks several times before and each time without a miss. The food is excellent absolutely delicious. They are known for their seafood menu and each dish is pure art. Not only is it so delicious, the plate’s presentation is magnificent. We tried the oysters (raspberry point) , lamb, seafood linguine, grilled seafood platter and of course their popular fish tacos! Their drinks are fantastic as well. Best of all is finding a place where there is great food, great service and amazing atmosphere. Our waitress Victoria was outstanding. Very friendly, professional and took care of our table providing the best service! Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!!!

Good atmosphere, good food,. Disappointed we were told that there were no tables available and through out our stay up untill time we left there were 30% of tables that were empty.
You can easily flip tables within 2 hours.
Better table seating management would : make happier customers and bring a lot more revenue .

Had dinner there with friends and it was a wonderful experience! Our Server (Chloe) was fun and helpful. She made great recommendations and was quick to attend to us through the whole evening. The Food was delicious and plentiful. If you're looking for some yummy food, excellent presentation and stellar service, they don't disappoint. Please note they have fantastic selections in addition to Oysters. We obviously went for Oysters and were treated to a nice sampling including all the fixings. But our guests ordered non-fish entries and their presentation was only surpassed by the actual food!

aw shucks is definitely a hidden gem that seafood lovers must experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for my dinner. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and their cocktail sauce is definitely the best i’ve had!

Beyond the oysters, the menu includes a fantastic selection. The service was attentive, and our waitress was not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations for pairing dishes with drinks.

If you're looking for a place with high-quality seafood, great drinks, and a cozy atmosphere, this place should be at the top of your list. I can't wait to return!

I love this place and the new location. There is parking in the back and the service is very friendly and attentive. The drinks and oysters are on point. Will definitely return.
