As a southerner, I have never tried northern barbecue, so I don’t know if this one is authentic. I can only say that as a person who lives in Newmarket, I am very happy to be able to eat kebabs without having to go far. The price is not particularly cheap. Two people ate for about 100. I especially recommend the cold noodles. They are delicious. I will visit again. ?

Food is really mediocre and expensive for what you get, we got the cold noodle, beef, lamb, shrimp and pork skewers. Tastes like something I could make at home and the ingredients don’t taste that great in terms of quality. Meat is mostly fat and no meat, depending on your preference, you might enjoy it. Service is friendly but didn’t really ask if the food was okay which is the most basic thing to do? Something to note is they have had several food handling infractions in the past.

Another Chinese north eastern bbq restaurant in Aurora. Saw a lot of good reviews so we dropped by. It’s not busy at all week day night, therefore got seated immediately. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered cold dishes, a hot dish pork bone, and a lot of bbq items. Overall it’s average quality, portion size is towards small end. Pork bones were too sweet for me. Anyway, it’s the only Bbq place in the area, in Scarborough you can find better Chinese Bbq restaurants
